ATS Cameron Hotel & Apartments — Hotel in Pahang

The good: ||- The location can’t be beat and the facilities are new. ||- The balcony (specific to rooms on level 3A I believe) was the highlight of the room. We used it often to sit outside and enjoy coffee and the views. We even used the balcony during pouring rain as there was an overhang to keep us dry. ||- The bed was one of the most comfortable my husband and I have stayed in during 3 months travel through SE Asia. ||- The car park is directly under the building, next to the elevators to the building. Free.||||The not so good:||- no WiFi (as advertised). Our phones were able to get some service so it wasn’t totally remote.||- The building and the lobby were hard to find at first. You check in on floor 2 of a Mall that looks under construction/empty.||- The staff wasn’t very helpful upon check in and we had a descrepancy over what the Booking.com photos showed (a couch) and the room they provided (two double beds). They showed us one room and said it was the last Queen double they had. Interestingly enough, after 4 people argued in a different language, they brought us to a different Queen double that just had a nicer balcony. ||- Note, they require you to pay in cash. This is not that uncommon for our stays...

Room was sparkling clean and quite spacious, complete with breakfast bar, 6 seater sofa, tv, good connection of WiFi, fridge, microwave oven and big wardrobe. We booked an apartment which has 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms. Each room has 1 queen bed and 1 foldable single bed. Many places to eat. 3 stars bcoz it is quite inconvenience for the parking. You have to park at the lowest floor of the basement first, then go up to the 1st floor by elevator, for check in. Then, after checking in, move your car to the upper level of basement (using different elevator) for hotel rooms. And TV remote control was out of order. Only 1 channel (TV 1)...
