Visit date: 14/1/2023 Every dish was on point except the assam laksa probably needs a little more depth to the flavour. Especially loved their Cheese Baked Chicken Chop rice, Smoked Duck Carbonara and Char Kway Teow! 👍 Love that the rice of the cheese baked dish was flavourful unlike many others where only the top part where the cheese & meat part is flavourful while the rice itself is bland. This one here boast flavours throughout the entire dish. The carbonara was rich & creamy yet not too cloying and a good portion of smoked duck. The char kway teow has enough ‘wok hei’ and was really well fried, also generous amount of ingredients. Overall, food here is really good and has quality, doesn’t taste like mass cooking. Owner used to be a chef in many well known restaurants in Singapore including Marina Bay Sands before returning to his hometown to start his own biz. Worth the visit when you’re in Cameron! Note: Remember to put parking ticket / coupon if parking outside or else local authorities would fine / saman.

While the restaurant offered friendly staff and good appearance of the food on your plate, my partners experience took a distressing turn. Following a late dinner here after a full day of bus travel, he was abruptly awakened at about 1:30 in the morning, grappling with severe vomiting and persistent diarrhea into the next day. With an all-day bus ride behind us and having consumed only pastries and snacks from a gas station, this meal held significant importance. Perhaps I didn’t get sick because I ordered the boiling hot soup and he had a curry and some sort of stir fry. Despite the friendly staff and appealing taste, the unfortunate incident of food poisoning during our visit to Cameron Highlands is noteworthy. It's essential to share these details, especially as we dined later in the evening and encountered unavailability of several items, prompting our waiter to offer alternative suggestions.

As a local, I highly recommend this restaurant as it is the best in Cameron Highlands. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and the food is well-cooked and tasty, it serves both local and western cuisine which suits almost all tastes. One of the best in their menu has to be the cheese-baked chicken chop rice and nasi lemak special for which I highly recommend to try out. Additionally, the food is Muslim friendly and vegetarian dishes are also served here. Some may find it pricey, but you will definitely get a bang for your buck as the food is really good👍 The atmosphere is also nice with the soothing background music keeping you calm. The staff are one of the friendliest I have ever met and are also very helpful and attend to your needs right away.

A very well patronaged restaurant and after visiting, it shows why. It has an extensive menu of Asian, western and fusion fare. The boss taste chicken burger was big and flavourful. But what caught our fancy were the well cooked Asian/fusion dishes.

The Lamb Rice Bowl was hearty - with its well marinated lamb chunks and balanced black pepper sauce.

The Kam Heong Seafood Fried Kuey Teow was really good, with its aromatic and rich kam heong sauce. It gave a vrry nice, rich aromatic kick to the ckt.

The Kung Fu Kuey Teow was excellent. The thick egg sauce and the well fried kuey teow provided the perfect balance of 'wok hei' and smooth rich creamy egg sauce.

The grilled Salmon Fillet with creamy golden pasta was also good. The creamy golden sauce was a unique blend of creaminess, spicyness and sweetness.

We topped off the meal with the Nanyang kopi - which was rich and aromatic - one of the best I've had. A perfect 'Cham' is always very subjective, as some prefer more coffee while others prefer more tea. The Nanyang Cham was perfect for me as it had the perfect strength of tea, coupled with a gentle aroma of coffee.

The entire experience was topped of by a ever effable and friendly Wan, who was ready to offer recommendations, give extra 'kaw' to the beverages. There is...

I love most of the food the served. I said most because I haven't tried all the menu😊. However I am sure all the menu are delicious. I love the fact that they are honest and humble with their meal and drinks.Check out their tagline, they do deliver what they promise. That's very important for me and husband. They served fusion and you can choose from Asian, Italian to Western. They quite generous with the portion. As a first timer to Cameron Highland, its quite difficult for me and husband to get good and decent meal, most rated view restaurants are quite disappointing(its only my perspective as a choosy person) but fortunately and coincidently we found Taste Boss. And we never feel even more lucky to have the opportunity to dine here and having a good meal after struggling finding a good meal. We quite impress with the choices of menu and most importantly taste is superb. If you have a chance don't forget to try their homemade ice cream. You will amaze as the standard is likely as non local ice cream in the market. Thank you for giving me and husband a great experienced. We hope we could go to Cameron Highlands again and try other choices meal and drinks...
