Definitely the place to go for specialty coffee in the area. The owner and her brother were working each day we were there, and they both provided outstanding service and very good drinks. The food, which was mostly pastries, was also nice.
The coffee itself is primarily roasted in-house (not on site), and they focus on slightly more developed profiles. We only tried their coffee as espresso and in milk drinks, not as a pour-over, but my impression of their coffee is very good. Sweet, well-roasted, well-prepared. The milk is also tested very well. Even the soy flat white that one of us ordered had an absolutely delectable texture. We also had a third-party coffee on pour-over that they prepared, and it was tasty. Also try the iced drinks, such as fruit-infused tea. So good.
The various pastries we had were all quite good. Nothing super unusual, but all prepared well. One of the most pleasant surprises was that nothing was overly sweet, not even the cheesecake or frostings. I'm not sure if they're made on site or not.
Service was what you'd hope from a family-run place: very good and personable. A few employees took off for holiday, so the family was working extra hours, and they opened the shop a bit late each time we went, so maybe give them a few minutes past the Google hours before heading over.
The location is actually pretty easy to find: it's across from the ground-level hotel desk and the mall elevators (not the lobby upstairs), and it's visible...

Tried the big breakfast (one with the baked beans, and one with the tomato), their iced latte and iced cappucino
Eggs were perfectly done, not overcooked, still moist and silky. They give salt and pepper on the side which was great cuz you can adjust it yourself. Yogurt was really nice too, good crunchy granola and drizzled with honey that tasted quite strong and floral if you’re into that. Sourdough bread was good too, they had cranberries inside. The tomato in the big breakfast was okay, sweet and juicy but nothing too special (idk to me it’s just a tomato so I prefer the baked beans)
Iced coffee was good, not too milky (my pet peeve). Strong enough and their coffee beans tasted nice. Even asked them if they sold their coffee beans but they don’t haha
We were so impressed with breakfast that we also tried their hojicha cheesecake and scones for dessert lol
Cheesecake was good but lacked the hojicha flavour tbh (cheesecake flavour overpowered the tea taste). Scone was good, on the crunchy biscuity side which I prefer. The jam was not homemade though which was a bummer
Staff were really nice and friendly too. Got them to pack our cake leftovers and they even added forks and tissues without us asking
Went back a 2nd time for their iced coffee after we got disappointed with bad coffee at another place
The cafe is small, a bit crammed nearer to the window but we don’t mind
Will be...
Read moreWe arrived at about 9am and no one at the place yet so we had a very cosy breakfast. Location is quite hidden as per the name.
FOOD: Many many choices of drinks especially coffee, food is more limited. The coffee (brazil + indonesian blend) we ordered (cocoa cappuccino, cafe mocha & doppio cortado) were punchy with only a light bitter aftertaste afterwards, getting more complex as they cooled. My parents normally need sugar in the drinks but the cocoa drinks didnt need sugar at all - good enough on its own! We ordered signature set + turkey panini (ciabatta turkey sandwich) and as you can see the portion was massive! And a steal at less than rm20 a set. Very worth the price. My mum loved the salad dressing as we believe the dressing can make or break a salad dish.
ATMOSPHERE: cafe music and quite comfortable for a calm and cool morning. If there are more people there might not be enough space though. Warm inside and got some seats outside where its cooler.
SERVICE: The staff there were warm and welcoming and happy to explain the type of coffee for the people who aren't familiar. The coffee came quick but will take some time for the food to arrive. Was worried if 1 person is enough for so many people that arrived after 9am but another staff arrived to service.
Overall truly a hidden gem in cameron. Will visit again (before...
