Bad experience. At the moment of ordering I wanted to take a hot chocolate from the normal menu but he told me that no, the only menu available was the "Costa" menu, so we were forced to take the most expensive menu. I therefore changed to a tea from the normal menu and the waiter took the liberty of blowing his nose to show his annoyance. I should point out that there was no music on at the time, but when the waiter went to give the order to the person who cook he turned on the music and played a song with a few words in French containing vulgarity and suggestions, I should point out that we were the only ones inside at the time, so I went over to the counter where the cook was and I asked him nicely if it was possible to change the music as the words of music were making us very uncomfortable, which he understood and turned off the music. As soon as I got back to my seat, the waiter, who had seen and heard me, went over to the counter to put the music back on and challenged me with his eyes. I told him the same thing, that the music was too vulgar and if it was possible to change it so that we could eat in peace, he replied that his boss was "mean" and that he couldn't change the music. I don't understand what his boss is doing in the story, knowing that they have a PC to choose the music and that he can choose what he wants. So I said no worries, I'll leave a bad review. He went straight to turning off the music but I'm sorry the damage is done. He didn't want to serve you or look at us afterwards and just sent the cook...
Read moreHad my dinner here. Food wise: Ordered the mushroom soup with croissant (2) as my starter. Can really taste the mushroom with every slurp. Love the mini croissant, fluffy in the inside and crispy and crunchy on the outside. Just the right combo with the mushroom soup. Took their signature chicken sandwich and was good too. Fill with slice of cucumber, tomatoes, lettuce, chicken ham, egg, and some other stuff. The dressing is nice too, goes well with the sandwich. Fries is the side and it's fresh! Crunchy on the outside, light and fluffy inside. Drinks: Since at cameron, decided to go for tea and ask the server to recommend and recommended he did. The lychee tea tasted mild and perfect for the night. Didn't add any sugar to it but it did come with 2 sachet of sugar for those sweet tongue. Requested to refill hot water to my tea and server didn't hesitate. Overall: forgot to take picture of my dinner but will definitely recommend anyone that do drop by Tanah Rata Cameron. Might return for lunch the next day and will take picture but will try their other stuff and see what do they recommend then. Service: Excellent... Serve with a smile...
Read moreI visited this place for breakfast after finding it on Google while searching for nearby options. During the morning hours, the menu consists of 5–6 items listed on the front page, followed by drinks. The rest of the menu was unavailable. Even among the limited options on the front page, chicken and paratha (one item) were also unavailable.
With limited choices, we ordered Chicken Nuggets, Big Breakfast, French Toast, and a Hot Chocolate. The French Toast was very average. The Chicken Nuggets were fine since they were just fried frozen items. However, the Big Breakfast was a disaster—the sausages were coated in some strange substance and were completely soggy; I’ve never had sausages like that before. The mushrooms were sliced thinly in an unusual way, unlike anything I’ve seen in my travels across the globe.
The coffees are priced 4–5 times higher than market rates and are made using a Costa dispenser.
Overall: A very blunt review, which I rarely give, but I wouldn’t...
