Very nice little hotel. My spacious room (3- bedroom for me alone) was on 3rd floor therefore more quiet. Nice mountainview to the backside with a garden. It was very clean. But the hot shower did not work, therefore I only had cold water (I rate 4* instead of 5). Very friendly staff and good service. They recommanded a tourguide to me for the next day. As I was on a short stay and only had one full day to explore the rainforrest, tea plantage etc., I was happy to choose a guide. Because he was recommanded by the hotel staff, I will rate him here too: "Karl", which is his nickname, is a very humble kind man and an outstanding guide. He definitly deserves 5*+ He gave us a customized full day tour and this means full day. We did an adventures hike in the rainforrest to find the Rafflesia flower with a lot of fun. This 4,5 hrs hike with Karl and a native guide was the highlight of the fullday tour. A small group of 6 tourists only. No mainstream average guided tour. Even in some challenging parts of the hike, Karl and the native guide took very good care of all of us. Karl gave us a lot of special good moments starting with the perfect view on the sunrise in early morning and ending with the sunset in the evening. We had good conversations too on saving the environment etc. This guide is absolutly worth the booking fee...
Read moreGreat Location. Tbh every where in cameron is not really walking distance. But the Inn is located quite separate from the hustle and bustle so you would not be stuck in congestion just to get to your accomodation.
The room was just okay for me. It is clean and adequate. My issues are standard. Very thin walls so you can hear when your neighbours are being noisy. But one thing i really could not stand and spoiled my mood immediately was the stench or cockroach at the door to our room. They desperately need some refurbishment works. Also it is very weird having to open your shoes before you go to your room. It is also gross to wear old slippers.
The service is quick and they are quite friendly. No long checkin and checkout procedures so that is definitely nice. The Inn is also located beside this newer accommodation which looks modern. I think they share a garden. But anyway seeing the other inn made me wish we were there instead. View from the balcony at night is gorgeous though. Also although cameron is at highland (lol) it is cold only when there is breeze so open the fan and have the window...
Read moreWhat a find! We’ve travelled around Asia for several months and absolutley loved our stay here. Such a quiet, clean and roomy bedroom with loads of space. With the best hot shower ensuite we’ve come across! Amazing! We also had a great little breakfast here (with Lemon honey tea and freshly squeezed orange juice - so good). We enjoyed Cameron Highlands for a few days. The hosts are super helpful, polite and speak good English. We couldn’t have ask for a better stay, after searching for hours for a place to stay off the main road and away from the maaaaadness and traffic noise. A few months ago we stayed in another part of CH and it was awful, so we were being picky to get something nice. To enhance its location, it was only a few minutes walk to great restaurants, bar, night market and more. This peaceful retreat with quiet gardens and dining room was great to come home too. An added bonus, large comfortable beds (not rock hard), soft pillows, comfy linen and a cute balcony and French windows to access for fresh wonderful air overlooking green spaces. Loved it. Highly recommend. Wifi also...
