Overall, the restaurant gets an "okay" verdict from me.

The restaurant is quite packed. But the staffs are nice and helpful. it's a halal chinese muslim eatery so don't be scared of the Chinese writings on the menu and at the shop headline.

The steamboat isn't bad but it's just so-so. Something that you can do at home hence i assume the mark up of the price is mostly due to the location of cameron highlands in which seafood isn't widely available. (they count per head but it's not an all you can eat buffet. They serve you the ingredients that have been apportioned per head)

The specialty dishes are abundant in portion but it is reasonable with each price stated. I ordered Penang Fried Kway Teow and there's around three to four shrimps for the protein and it costs rm7. The taste is...

This is my first time at Cameron Highland with my mum. As my mum has dietary restriction, this restaurant's food suits her diet, we requested for less oil & less salt & they were able to cook the dishes as per our request.

We went there for lunch & ordered Yang Chow Fried Rice, Sweet & Sour Sliced Fish & a cup of Hot Chinese Tea. I was amazed with the taste of their Sweet & Sour Sliced Fish. It was really delicious.

Then we returned for dinner & this time round we ordered the hotplate bean curd, ginger onion chicken & a cup of Hot Chinese Tea. Again we requested for less oil & less salt.

We were satisfied with their dishes, I hoped that I wasn't being biased but the food was really delicious.😋👍🏻

P.S. - this is not a paid review, it is my genuine opinion...

Food has MSG in unless you ask for none… (Disclaimer- I think this is normal for restaurants around here, so look out for better ones).

Was craving some nice Malay food. Saw this recommended on a site. Only once I ordered did I see the previous MSG review and thought uh oh. I hoped it was wrong but it wasn’t…. The staff were so lovely and it was nice to speak Cantonese to a lady. However, when I didn’t finish my meal, they asked why. I asked if there is MSG in it, and they said ‘yes a little bit, everywhere puts in it’. When I said that ‘it isn’t good for me’, they replied ‘you need to tell us if you don’t want it- everywhere puts it in ‘. They were kind and not mean, however wasn’t the fresh food...
