GEO Resort & Hotel — Hotel in Pahang

I'm using agoda for booking. Some requirements that i stated in agoda does not transfer to the hotel system as mentioned by the check in staff. Only 1 card provided, I ask for 1 more, she told me that this is the hotel policy. Memang semua org kita bagi 1 card je, katanya. At night, I 'm going out and my partner wanna stay, but due to only 1 card provided, my partner also need to go out since no electricity because they use card slot system and i also need the card for the lift. Memang bangang punya policy. U might have your own reasons not to give 2 cards but it applicable if the person stay alone. For me, u want to save electricity but u must understand, we pay everything for 1 day stay even its not a day, its 20hrs to be exact. We already pay u extra. Ya ya ya, i understand, all hotels like that. This is not the 1st time i stayed in the hotel. But I have no issue to get another extra card. No toilet at lobby area, if long Q for check in, man.... u better standby mineral bottle. Or u better flush everything at petron gas station. Lama bro nak tunggu. I get a bit quite room at level 6 but the issue is, u can hear your neighbour talking and also from the corridor. So u better reduce whatever sound including your fart, your neighbour might hear you. The wardrobe have some unpleasant smell. A bottle of shampoo and shower gel for 2 persons? For 20hrs stay? Woooi kedekut gile. 3 kali wei kita org mandi. Esok pagi, tengah hari pun nak mandi lagi sebelum balik.🤦‍♂️

Weekend night quite noisy with motorbikes and cars since the hotel near the makan place. What good about this hotel is the room spacious, shower pressure also good, nearby restaurants, 24hrs mart, massage shop, gas station. For Muslim, no sajadah provided, u can bring ur self. Limited clothes hanger. May bring ur self too. Others like kettle, iron, iron board, small fridge, safe box, hair dryer...

To be fair, the rooms are not at its top conditions, but clean and well equipped enough. No complain about the rooms/condo.

The main problems here, are the extremely ridiculous management. Not only that we have to go to another building just to collect our keys, there are just 4 lifts on each floor for at least 30~40 condos (each with multiple rooms).

And since genting is a famous tourist attractions for both locals and overseas families, hence when comes to check out time, everyone tend to check out at roughly the same time (before 11am), and 4 lifts for 30~40 condos each floors, and 38 floors (you guys do the maths)… the result is, every single trip of the lift is full and the lift tend to stop at every single floors during that time because of the fact that everyone on every floor is trying to leave!

As a result, you might have to wait for hours just to leave the bloody building!

You might ask… well, why can't you try to take the stairs? Here's the most ridiculous part, each stairs exit on every single floors are locked! Pray to God that while you are there, there's no power failure, landslides or fire, as for sure, there's no escape! Prepare to die a slow and agonizing death with your love ones. Well, at least thousands of others will be with you for that, if that's any consolation at all.

I refuse to stay at this place or any place managed by this company ever again. I dun care how nice you made the room and how strategic the location might be.

For those that think that you're smart and took the staffs lift… well, ignoring the fact that they have a sign there stating that taking the staff lift are punishable with a fine of RM200, well it's just as full as those 4 lifts out there. Everyone tried to leave the place, you think people still care about staff lift or not? Good luck GEO whatever, your company is...

Surprisingly anazing hotel room. Fairly clean and modern design. The bed linen is soft and comfortable. Nice view of Genting Highlands from the balcony although the balcony may not be the largest but still great! TV does not have Netflix but has quite a few channels. The toilet is big and spacious, the tub can even fit 2 people. Hot and cold water both available. Huge mirror, a face mirror and hairdryer (attached to the wall) too. The room also has an iron and an ironing board.The staff are kind and helpful with our requests for housekeeping and providing more toiletries. I also have to point out the very kind doorman/security people who bow to every guests that go in and out of the hotel (made me a little uncomfortable that they are so polite!) and immediately comes over to the parking gantry to help with us entering the parking lot.The location is pretty good as well. Many convenience stores and restaurants (all kinds of cuisines). There is also a petrol station and even a Starbucks. Zus Coffee available but will need to drive out a couple of minutes.Gym is not the most well-equiped - has treadmill and bicycle, even a full set of weights. A few other standard gym machines as well but some of them were spoilt. Hotel breakfast is not worth at all, to be very honest. Everyday most of the food served are the same, and the variety is not the best. Some fruits, cereals with milk, fish soup, nasi lemak (the sambal is really good though), some bakes, vegetarian options available (but not very appetising). Better off getting breakfast from around the area. But this is really the only bad thing about the hotel.Would definitely recommend everyone to come to this hotel for a nice, relaxing stay. Decent food options around...
