I recently had the pleasure of dining at Memang Meow Kopitiam, and let me tell you, it was a delightful experience from start to finish.
I ordered the Salted Egg Chicken with rice, and I was really impressed. The chicken was cooked to perfection—juicy and tender, with a rich salted egg sauce served separately. This thoughtful presentation meant that the chicken stayed crispy, and I could control how much sauce I wanted with each bite. It was a heavenly combination that had me savoring every mouthful!
Next up was the nasi lemak, which truly transported me to the heart of Malaysian cuisine. The rice was fragrant and fluffy, while the sambal had just the right level of spice to wake up my taste buds. The chicken was succulent and packed with flavor, rounding out this authentic dish beautifully. It felt like a home-cooked meal that I could enjoy any day of the week.
What made the meal even more enjoyable was that everything came out hot and fresh. There’s something special about food that’s served at the right temperature, and it really enhances the overall experience.
The staff were incredibly accommodating, making sure I had everything I needed and suggesting some of their favorites. Their friendly demeanor added to the welcoming atmosphere, which was further enhanced by the café’s cleanliness. It felt like a well-cared-for space where I could truly relax and enjoy my meal. Shout out to Sianny, who tended to us and made sure everything was OK.
To wash it all down, I treated myself to a Blue Ribena Lemon drink, and wow—it was splendid! The sweet and tangy berry flavor was refreshing and perfectly complemented the savory dishes.
Overall, my visit to Memang Meow Kopitiam was a fantastic culinary adventure. The combination of delicious food, attentive service, and a clean, inviting environment made me feel right at home. I can’t wait to return and delve deeper into their menu! If you’re in the area and craving some comforting Malaysian fare, this place is definitely...
Read moreThe food was good, so is the ice coffee. The problem is with the staff, i can understand they could be short in staff. Only 2 working outside, 1 as waiter and the other lady as cashier and making drinks. We sat down and the waiter gave us 2 menus, so i ask for another menu and he kinda pointed to the extra menus. His gesture was like expecting us to take ourselves, but he brought them to us eventually. While the cashier lady tak friendly, maybe shes busy but thats not our problem. Thats your management problem. Went there at 11+ and told us nasi lemak was sold out and the boba as well. But later on we saw other tables were served with nasi lemak, maybe the nasi finish kot but thats the main dish ppl would look for especially in the morning. Well, like i said the food was quite good but the service totally out. So we wont be coming bck...

We went to Memang Meow yesterday night around 7:46 pm. Only a few customers, including us, were at the restaurant during that hour. We ordered 3 chicken chops and 1 Fried Kuey Teow Tom Yum. It took them 1 hour to serve the Kuey Teow Tom Yum to me, despite multiple inquiries about its preparation. They kept saying it was already cooked. After 1 hour, they finally served the fried Kuey Teow. However, the Kuey Teow was so stiff and glued together. I asked the lady staff if I could change it to nasi lemak. After confirming with her, she took the Kuey Teow back to the kitchen. I waited for another 20 minutes, but no one served me the food. 😡😡 Finally, we decided to leave and informed them that they no longer needed to prepare the food. I waited for 1 hour and 20 minutes just to leave...
