Ambience: Far from ideal, typical hawker place but bearable.
/Price Point vs. Quality & Quantity: 20RM for a bowl of scrumptious claypot mutton rice? Yes please. Do note that the rice served is on the mushy side of spectrum instead of crispy (not the usual Chinese style claypot rice). Picture Nasi Biryani but make it risotto. First time trying and we loved it. Thankfully we preemptively opted for less spicy and the amount of spices added still packed a punch.
/Space: Small setup but there are quite a number of tables to go around.
/Service: Average.
/Xtra: Important if you're not driving, it is still possible to reach here Grab. Please do not charter a private car from Genting Resort - we tried that prior to trying Grab and realised we were ripped off.
*Verdict Definitely worth a revisit. Nothing out of the world but good food x price point. Interesting texture for claypot rice. Ingredients given were quite generous. Would highly recommend to try one of the claypot rice. Mutton soup was just above average. They have other options such as goreng, prata etc.

Read moreEverything we ate was cooked beautifully. The flavors were balanced yet pronounced. We ate here two nights in a row. First night takeaway was boxed up thoughtfully. Second night dine in service was great. All together we tried the clay pot rice(2x), nasi lemak goreng, chicken curry, mutton curry, sambal prawn, nasi goreng, and lemon mint Asam boi. The asam boi is the ideal beverage to pair with mutton curry. It cleanses and refreshes the palate, immediately preparing you for the next flavorful bite. Also appreciate the Chef's attention to detail, garnishing every dish and serving rice with a blend of cooked vegetables or crisp clean marinated herb/tofu salad. I would avoid the food at genting resort most of which is flavorless and instead come get an amazing meal here. Thank you for the great food! Best of luck to you...

The total bill ended up being around 70 to 80 ringgit, which felt quite steep considering the quality. The dishes were overly heavy on masala and didn’t have any particularly unique flavors to justify the price. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.
Mutton varuval was about RM25, very small portion and a lot of potatoes to balance the mutton pieces ..
There are few other Indian restaurants selling same food which is at the range of RM12, reasonable..
One thing expensive doesn’t mean it’s going to be...
