*Geo 38 Premium King Suites* provided an outstanding three-day, two-night stay that merits commendation. We checked in seamlessly at 3 pm, appreciating the efficient process. Kudos to Ms. Wani, an exceptionally attentive and friendly receptionist, for providing clear instructions regarding parking, check-in, and check-out procedures. Regarding the room condition: - The cleanliness, neatness, and coziness earned a perfect score of 10/10. - The master bedroom featured a king-size bed with cupboards and drawers, air conditioning, iron, hair dryer, and well-organized hangers. The bed sheets and bath towels were impeccably clean. - The dining and living hall included a queen-size bed, a single bed, a dining table with chairs, a fully functional TV and fan, fridge, microwave, cooker, hood, kettle, kitchen cabinets, dustbin, and a complete set of kitchen amenities. - The connected bathroom, accessible from the master bedroom and dining hall, was supplied with toothbrushes, toilet rolls, and a dustbin—all maintained in a clean condition. - The provided washer machine (washer+dryer), hanging rack, mop, and pail added to the convenience. - The lifts operated smoothly, potentially due to our early check-out around 9 am. The view offered a pleasant scenery, though without a balcony, featuring small windows to allow fresh cool air into the room. In the vicinity: - Numerous restaurants and convenient shops offered more affordable options compared to Genting Highlands. - An 8-minute drive led to Genting Premium Outlet (GPU). - Approximately 20 minutes away, Genting Highland SkyWorlds provided an engaging destination. - Our journey commenced with a visit to nearby Chin Swee Cave Temple offering a moment for prayer before lunch and checking into Geo38. Our itinerary included a light and easy evening on the first day, featuring snow viewing at SkyWorlds. On the second day, after breakfast, we efficiently parked at Genting Premium Outlet, took the Skycab (2 ways) from GPU to SkyWorlds, and enjoyed a wonderful day. Our return to GPU with Skycab, avoiding nighttime driving on the winding mountain descent, was a secure choice. We engaged in window shopping, had dinner, and then rested comfortably at Geo38. Our garments were meticulously laundered and dried (using the provided washer machine) before departure, emitting a pleasant fragrance and enhancing convenience. The third day's swift check-out process, coupled with the prompt refund of the RM 200 cash deposit, further underscored the professionalism of the establishment. Our experience was exceedingly positive, prompting an unequivocal plan to revisit GEO38. We wholeheartedly recommend GEO38, deserving a five-star rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

Had a less than spectacular stay at Geo38. The check in process was very inflexible, and they only allowed check ins at 3pm sharp, despite being willing to pay for an earlier check in. Even after we came back 15 minutes before 3pm, they were rigid on the 3pm check in timing, resulting in a long queue forming during the check in time. However, I would give them the benefit of the doubt that the rooms aren’t ready until 3pm sharp. We booked a room which indicated it was for 4 adults. However, when we arrived, we were told the 4 people is actually inclusive of 1 infant, and that there was actually only space for 3 adults. Additional beds can be provided, but at a cost of 50RM per night. The room itself was fine and was reasonably clean. However, as alluded in the paragraph above, since they mentioned the room was only for 3 adults, they only provided 3 towels! Additional towels had to be rented for an extra 10RM. If the room cannot accommodate 4 adults, the room listing should not have indicated that. Considering that 4 adults were listed, it would be a reasonable assumption that the facilities and equipment provided would suit 4 people, including the towels. It really is disappointing when the front desk said that there’s nothing they can do about it except to pay. Even after we paid for the towels, it took a really long time and a follow up with the front desk before we got the towels! The towels didn’t smell that fresh either. The parking facilities were fine, and you will be assigned a lot to park at. Please park at the designated lot to you, otherwise your wheel might be clamped! And finally, in terms of safety, the neighbourhood seems relatively safe with security guarding the complex. However, the room doors don’t contain a safety latch. The digital lock has a privacy latch that you can turn, but its use is negated by the fact that if someone unlocks the door from outside, it will also unlock the privacy latch! So because of that, I’d recommend you to bring your valuables out with you. If you are heading to the Genting Highlands resort, I suggest having a car as it is not convenient heading up without transport. There is no provided transport like a shuttle bus, and it is hard to get a cab or Grab ride there. Overall, based on our experience, I would not recommend staying at Geo38, unless these issues have been rectified.

Overall i would rate this place, "A good stop for budget friendly and clean space". Visited from the 10th till 12th Apr 2025. 1. Food: Breakfast is included as part of the room for certain bookings, however, its only provided for 2 adults. Any additional pax requires to pay RM25. Food selection is basic, nasi lemak, fried noodles, sausages and fried popiahs. Drink is made to order, choices between milo, tea and nescafe. Hmm, not recommended if its not part of the room. On the other side, there's ala carte options available at the cafe, with prices range from RM20 to RM30. 2. Hospitality: This is a residency apartment hence not much to expect. Check-in staffs were friendly, technicians were friendly as well. 3. Environment & View: Its chilly and quiet. Please make sure you request for a quiet space to avoid being placed with units that has kids. Day and night view is amazing. There's a slight chance you will hear car racing in the early mornings and some construction sounds from the opposite site of the apartment. 4. Rooms: Clean, comfortable and spacious. Sheets has no smell but I suggest get some bed sprays. Mattress is on the medium side on the small room and hard side on the master room. There's a squeeky sound from the bed on the small room, was very uncomfortable when you're sleeping and turning over. Note: We arrived at the check-in reception at 2.00p.m. hence we requested for an early check-in. There's an additional RM50(per hour) charge for early check-in. Similarly this applied for late check-out. The toilets are clean however, towards the early morning hot waters are not constant. Note: Smart TV not provided. WIFI is not balance. May experience multiple disconnect. For those who WFH, please make sure you have a back-up plan. 5. Activities: There's pool and gym available to us. You can also walk around or jog around(there are early risers who enjoys morning job around the area) 6. Parking: One designated free parking is provided. Easy to locate and easy to access to lift. Based on personal experience, i probably would only book this place is other places like Swiss Garden Hotel and other Hotels are not available. However, as mentioned above, this is a great place for those under budget and looking for a comfortable space.

Pros: The location of residence is strategic as they have a linked bridge to eateries (mamak, cafe, many Chinese shop), convenience store, mart (7-11, KK, 99 Speedmart, family mart), petrol station (Petron). Somehow, it can be very silent and dark at night when walking at the bridge. The cleanliness of room is fair but could improve more as the sofa/couch is dusty and torn (I even had insect bites when sitting) but they cover up with a large cloth. The kitchenette had everything from utensils (spoon, fork, knife, scissors). It's equipped with an induction stove, a hood, a microwave, a refrigerator, big sink, dish soap, and a sponge. There was a cloth, but I knew it was not clean for ages because I almost fainted due to the smell, I had to wash it a number of times before using or else you could bring your own kitchen towel. There is also washing machine that has drying option, detergent powder, broom, dustpan, mop and a small portable clothesline. There is heater available but sometimes it goes off I doubt they have timer for the heater. The room was nice, but blankets and pillows are not properly washed and cleaned, it's obvious. The hall had TV box. They also had strong Wi-Fi connection. The hall also had small but wide coffee table, round dining table and chairs. The service from front office(maplehome) was nice and pleasant, one of them attended us was new or he was a trainee, but he still attends us well. The residence has a big swimming pool, child's swimming pool, a small exercise area, a small children's playground, a room with only one table tennis/ping pong table and a gym. The gym is quite a disappointment because there was 4 treadmill and 2 is not in service. One is showing error and one more couldn't even turn on (I have switched on all the plugs). The other machine was okay but only one or two can be used. The weight machine and others were very rusty and had no maintenance and cleaning. The only thing you can use is the dumbbell or weight, but it is also rusty. The lights can be turned on, but the fan couldn't so there was no ventilation, and I couldn't be in for more than 20 minutes. The sauna was in the washroom of the G(ground) floor, and it was not very safe as it is quite isolated from the security if anything happens, and it was locked because you need to inform the security and give your room details for them to record the usage of sauna. Cons: The main minus point in this residence is their elevator/lift. There were only 4 lifts in the whole block/tower with 38 floors. One of the lifts is under maintenance or I believe they it shut down, (tactics used by all residence/hotel to save electricity). The other 3 lifts were occupied every time. But the only thing I can't take it was during the checkout (on Sunday). Checkout time is 11am??? The number of people checking out is a lot and the lift will not stop until it reaches the top (38th floor). For your info, the lift stops at each level going up and going down. For example, I was on the 10th floor, and I could not go down as it have to go up first and then it opens at each floor until the top (38th). When it was going down, it opens again at each floor. So, I was stucked in the lift with no ventilation for about 30 mins, and I waited for the elevator for 20 mins. So, it's about an hour. We also chatted among the guest in elevator and all of them face the same struggle. Everyone waited for almost an hour for the elevator and mind you if we take the staircase, it is only accessible until G floor meanwhile the lobby is at the L7 floor (lower 7, lower than G floor). So, there is no way but to take the elevator. Next, is the environment that is silent and not much movement especially during the night which gives off creepy vibes. Furthermore, I did find a tiny baby cockroach under the shoe rack but I'm afraid it came from outside at the washing...
