ERNES Hotel Seberang Jaya — Hotel in Penang

I regret to inform you that my recent stay at your hotel has left me feeling quite disappointed. Despite my best efforts to find positive aspects to highlight in my review, I found it difficult to do so.

Upon arrival, I noticed that the room was not as clean as I had hoped, and there were several issues that made my stay less than satisfactory. Firstly, the receptionist was not friendly or welcoming, which left me feeling somewhat unwelcome. The room itself appeared a bit dated and not as advertised in the pictures, which was disappointing.

Moreover, I experienced itchiness on my skin, which led me to believe that the mattress was not properly cleaned or maintained. The worst issue, however, was the presence of a cockroach in my room. I was shocked to find it, and it made my stay quite unpleasant.

Regrettably, Sunway Seberang Jaya and The Light Hotel were fully booked, which left me with no choice but to stay somewhere nearby. However, I was fortunate to only stay one night, and the following night I was able to change to Sunway Seberang Jaya, which was a much better experience.

I sincerely hope that you will take my feedback into consideration and make improvements to ensure that future guests do not encounter similar issues. I would strongly advise anyone considering staying at your hotel to think twice...

I booked a budget twin bedded room for 3 nights following positive reviews at this site. Generally, I was not disappointed even though this budget room has no window as it was for the beds and washroom. The room size was surprisingly generous for a budget room and it was clean and the washroom was designed & built to be sturdy and fit for purpose.||There was a mini fridge as in most hotel rooms. So without hesitation I bought some fruits and drinks and left them inside only to discover the next morning that the fridge was not working. A report was duly lodged with the front desk whereupon I was informed that it is not working for lack of maintenance i.e. out of gas. Not only that it was not just my room affected by this issue but all rooms in the hotel. Worse still there was no plan to fix the problem. What a shame, good min fridge just out of gas and tough luck for guests!||If u don't mind no fridge, this is still a value for money...

Elegant interior was the first impression that came to my mind upon entering the lobby. The staffs were friendly and helpful. Check in was smooth. I've stayed at deluxe queen size bedroom for a day. The elegant atmosphere was extended at the hallway on the second floor and it ends there. The room however was poorly maintained despite the neat layout. Workmanship was sloppy hence the room looked dilapidated. Broken & cheap hair/hands dryer looked a bit off from the rest of the room as it was installed at a very odd location. Flat screen TV, kettle and overhead shower were standard in room amenities. The bed was comfy but the room was a bit noisy due to poor insulation. WiFi was available but I've forgotten to ask for the password. There was no breakfast but plenty of eateries near the hotel just to satisfy your appetite. Banks, convenient stores and even shopping mall were around the corner. For the price, it was an average stay on...
