Erm, as a hospitality educator, so i just strict to the point, not to mentioned whether the service bad or not, but based on what i experienced for the first time at here. This is my worst sushi king restaurant visited so far. Staff vise, not really greetings to customer, not saying bad attitude but feel they are like working in food court hawker stall, no need to care much, luckily cashier is still acceptable level, food vise, not much selection compare to others franchise, luckily my must order food oyako don is available, whole restaurant only see one wasabi can for us to fill, sushi plate are not standardized, summore i saw almost same sushi but different colour plate, save cost is it? sushi cover are not clean and not cover up nicely( maybe customer put it back) some still japanese rice sticking the cover...
Auto service tray is nice, but at least stick the notes saying please press this button to let me go back or something, not everyone know to press when take all our food,

Read moreThe service here could use some improvement because it took the staffs a while to clean the empty tables so we had to queued up for a while before entering as the next customers. At the very least, it didn’t take very long for our food to arrive.
For the fun part, you will be able to play their free games on their tablet if you spent a certain amount on your order. There will be free beverages of dessert depending on which of the 3 game difficulty you choose and it isn’t too hard to beat them.
In terms of the food, the quality is a bit average when you compare it to some of the higher end Japanese restaurants in Penang. The sushi lack taste and the presentation just feels mediocre. Not much choices of dish on the conveyor belt, so have to make order using the tablet provided, but some dishes or beverage are not available! Haiyaa! Another issue is after we're seated, the leftovers and tableware left by the previous customer weren't cleared up immediately for about 10 minutes. My youngest son (autistic child) started eating as he couldn't wait for the clearance, so I had to move those dirty mess-up aside and pressed for 'waiter service' 3 times!
