Outside the room, you’ll find a filtered water machine, a drink-making station, and an ironing board, which are really convenient.||The building may not have a polished, hotel-like exterior—it actually looks a bit like a laundry shop—but honestly, that doesn’t matter when the rooms are this good. Plus, the entire place, including the simple lobby, is fully air-conditioned, which is a huge plus in Malaysia’s heat. For the price you’re paying, this place is a steal.||Parking is limited, but they do have extra spots at the back, accessible via a backdoor. The only small downside is that there’s no elevator, but since it’s a renovated double-storey house, that’s understandable.||As for Taiping itself, this charming town is known for its lush greenery, heritage buildings, and of course, the famous Taiping Lake Gardens—perfect for a morning stroll. From the 2 two time I stayed here, the first stay was magnificent and superb experience. I came from Ipoh. However, the second time was quite unsatisfactory...this is due to certain factors... Firstly, a dog on the property...not sure if its owned by the property or outside but this is a huge turn off for alot of people. Please enforce NO PETS/ANIMALS in general on property. I'm a muslim. I came with my family for short vacation. And from my observation, ALOT of Muslims families came here too. In fact, a couple of muslims individuals told me they probably wont come here again just from this single issue... 2nd, I highly suggestting putting ATLEAST one staff to deal with issues such a complaints, check-ins/outs... having no staff to regulate things around proved quite the unsatisfactory experience to me during my 2nd time stay. To whoever responsible for this, PLEASE take this matter seriously. Me and my family liked this place so much and I'm sure for alot of people too. So, please dont tarnish it with ridiculous...
