Premise: I am a student from Italy in a study trip here in Malta, so I got the students menù, not the normal one, so probably the things they gave to me and my friends were worse than the usual things they prepare in this resturant.
I was here for 10 days, more or less, so I'll make a list of the things I ate and I'll tell you how they were for me.
Saturday: Penne arrabbiata I'll go as soft as I can here...That pasta felt like nothing. Penne arrabbiata is supposed to be a very savory food, it is supposed to be covered in spicy tomato sauce, but that pasta wasn't spicy at all. So, it didn't had tomato, it wasn't spicy, and it didn't even have enough salt in it...It was just tasteless, which is the opposite of what the penne all'arrabbiata are :( Vote: 1/5
Sunday: Chicken Fingers + Chips The chicken fingers (Which were more like chicken nuggets, but this is another discourse) were actually pretty good. I mean, almost every chicken nugget on Earth is pretty good, but I'm not complaining. And the chips are always good too. Simple dish, but a good one. Vote: 3,5/5
Monday: Spaghetti bolognese Unfortunately, again, the pasta wasn't salty at all, and the ragù (The meat sauce) was all over the top, I had to mix it with the pasta myself. Also, it was tasteless too, not as the penne arrabbiata, but it was close. Vote: 2/5
Tuesday: Pork roast + Chips I was actually surprised here, in a good way. The pork roast was soft and perfectly cooked, and the chips were good too, but as I said before, you can't really miss with them. The only "bad" thing was that there was only two pieces of pork roast and too many chips. I suggest to put less of them and add one or two more pieces of pork, because it was really good. Vote: 4/5
Wednesday: Chicken mushroom risotto This one was really good, especially because I really like mushrooms, and chicken was good too. Nothing was really bad about this dish 4/5
Thursday: Kebapi + Chips I didn't like this one. It was, like, 5-6 little sausages (And they taste like...Normal sausages) on a piece of bread, and some chips, which really started to become boring. 2/5
Saturday (We skipped a day): Seafood pasta This one surprised me too, especially because I don't usually like seafood. Everything tasted good enough, just, try to remove more water from the bottom of the plates, ok? 4/5
Sunday: Chicken Fingers Already told you
Final vote: 3
BUT since I have a crush on the waitress (The one with the glasses) because she called me "baby" 😫, I'll add 1 star. It was very...I mean, no one ever called me "baby" before, it...

Read moreWe were offered a table in the middle of th restaurant. Next table to us was so close that it seemed we have dinner all together. Waiter serving a wine to that table hardly fit between tables. There were weird moments. Mazze platter for two was big enough. To our taste there too little vegetables and/or bread because grease at the end was nothing to apply on. However everything was tasty and consisted different taste. Octopus and lemon were grilled together and octopus had imbibed of lemon taste too much. Also it was too oily for me. Potato salad served next to octopus helped to balance a taste. Portion was too big. After Mazze platter I would ask half of it next time if available. My partner enjoyed day soup - seafood soup, which gets plus from us as it was without shrimps.:) Soup was good, full of taste, served with couple of slices grilled bread. Still water was served...
