Gorgeous restaurant! I saw it as I was driving by the waterfront and I had to try it…
Food - I had the seafood risotto and a glass of wine, both amazing 10/10. Great portions, fresh food, and the kitchen served it hot and quick.
Service - My server acted like he didn’t even want to be there. Gruff demeanor, very inconsiderate, he did not check on me and practically ignored me. I didn’t even get a plate of complimentary bread which everyone else in the restaurant i saw received. After my main course I waited for a while for a while for him to check on my table…I finally got a hold of him for the dessert menu…30 minutes later HE NEVER CAME BACK. He completely ignored my table but he was serving others, making drinks and chatting up his friends at the bar. There was even a couple that came in the middle of my service and the waiter that attended them had them in and out so quickly, dessert included. Keep in mind I came on a Tuesday night…the restaurant was only half full…
I couldn’t even get a hold of him for my bill, so I had to get up and ask another waiter to close my bill. I love fine dining…never in the history of me dining at such an establishment have I ever had to get up and go close my own bill at the register. Absolutely ridiculous. This is not a rest stop or a deli. THE PRICES OF THE DISHES AT HIGH END RESTAURANTS ARE ONLY REASONABLE FOR THE AMBIANCE AND SERVICE OF THE RESTAURANT.
That being said, I let the waiter who closed my bill know that her co worker ignored my table and she called him over. He made excuses about being busy because the restaurant was so “full” and told me I could’ve asked other servers because he wasn’t the only person working. If that is the case then I guess the whole staff is to blame for not servicing the table he was given….I’ve never heard of any restaurant that operates like that but ok….I asked for him name, but he refused so I asked for the manager…then he gave me his name but he was probably lying…”Daniel”.
I would have loved to go back but the disrespect was too much. The food and ambiance is awesome though, you should try it. The other...

In an ever-evolving dining scene where inconsistency too often mars promise, Felice in Gzira stands out as a sanctuary of elegance, warmth, and assured quality. Time and again, it delivers not merely a meal, but an experience—an increasingly rare feat.
Foremost among its virtues is the gracious and consistently outstanding service led by Jiwan, whose professionalism, poise, and instinctive attentiveness elevate every visit. It is individuals like him who quietly uphold the standard of true hospitality and ensure one feels both welcomed and well looked after, whether arriving with company or simply to unwind solo by the sea.
The pizzas—crafted with devotion to traditional technique yet an eye for refinement—deserve particular praise. The dough is delicate yet substantial, the crust achieving that elusive balance of crispness and yield. Whether you favour a classic Margherita or a more inventive variation, each bite speaks of quality ingredients and skilled hands.
The location offers a blissful seaside reprieve, where a soft breeze and golden-hour light accompany meals in a way that is both restorative and quietly celebratory. The décor is artfully curated—never ostentatious, but confidently tasteful, with nods to coastal chic and contemporary Italian aesthetics.
Felice’s cocktail selection is equally well-considered, with offerings that rival more ambitious lounges. Whether one’s preference leans toward the timeless Negroni or a seasonal signature creation, the bar delivers with elegance and restraint. The broader menu, meanwhile, is generous without being overwhelming, with dishes that cater to both traditional palates and the more adventurous gourmand.
In sum, Felice is a testament to what happens when quality, consistency, and care are treated not as aspirations, but as daily practice. It is the kind of place one returns to—not simply for what’s on the plate, but for how it makes you feel. Quite simply, a gem.
The French toast for breakfast...
Read moreWe decided to eat at Felice, after having heard that they have good sea food and a nice ambience. Being located right at the promenade, it happens to be quite a nice place to walk to— and have a nice digest-what-you-just-indulged-in walk back.
I came to dine here with my mother, who is a very picky eater. She likes fish, which is why I chose this place for both of us. My mom chose the sea bass, and knowing she usually doesn't finish, I chose the salad. To my surprise, the food exceeded her expectations and she finished the whole fish! (This is the highest compliment she can give a restaurant 😆)
⭐ I had a reservation, which is likely needed in high-season or around holidays. On a Sunday evening in March, you probably don't need a reservation. However, the reservation process was very simple, quick and easy.
⭐ The ambience and the atmosphere is top notch. ⭐ The service is quick, polite and thoughtful. ⭐ I believe the cocktail menu changes from time to time. Comparing the cocktail menu I had today with the other drink menus posted here, they differ. However, the signature cocktail I had was very delightful. ⭐ The food was, as noted before, very good. My mom praised the sea bass, and I really enjoyed the cheese on my salad.
Overall I would recommend going here if you want to have a great time, enjoy good food and a nice atmosphere. The establishment is a bit on the pricier end, but it reflects in the quality...
