Villa Esterito — Hotel in Baja California Sur

The owner of this hotel is really a dishonest man, you have plenty other charming places in La Paz, please chose somewhere else. The rooms are dark and you cannot open your window cause of the noise of the air conditioners outside. The toilets were fleeing and we didn’t have a door knob to close our room at our arrival. But the localisation is great! We planned to stay 3 nights in this hotel but we left after the first night. We had more than 1 day and a half without water, no possibility to go to the toilet, brush teeth, have shower. We tried to meet or talk with the owner to cancel the 2 other nights. He said he will come twice to the made, we waited for him 2 hours and we finally understood that he will never come to apologies or at least to us to find a solution with us. We actually wait for 1 day to see if the situation was fixed, they told us each time that it will be good in a few hours but it wasn’t true. We felt really stucked with this hotel, you can’t take clients in hostage like this just because they already paid and they cannot afford to go somewhere else at the last time. That’s the first time something like this happen to us and it’s creating a real feeling of injustice that people can take advantage of...

Good wifi, great location, free parking, free toiletries. But... LOUD AND NOISY! The fridge and AC is super loud. My room was right at the entrance door, so I was constantly disturbed by people opening and slamming the door. The AC is located in the kitchenette, so the remote doesn't work from the bedroom: you have to get up. The bed wasn't very comfortable either as it has a foam mattress. There is no television. The whole unit needs some paint and maintenance. There is a coffee pot in the kitchen but no coffee. They don't even give you a complimentary bottle of water. I have stayed in many places in La Paz for the same price but much...

The good aspects include excellent communication – no worries if you arrive late, as keys are left in a special key box. Communication via WhatsApp makes check-in very convenient. Great location, just a few steps to the melacon, surrounded by cafes and restaurants. The rooftop is fantastic. And of course, the cleaning lady was super friendly, keeping the room very clean. Also, the Wi-Fi was very good. Room has a kitchen which is well-equipped and very useful. Unfortunately, the bedroom windows face the neighbors' kitchen, and the kitchen windows face the neighbors' room, so it's impossible to let natural light...
