Café Bélier — Restaurant in Baja California Sur

i live in la paz and love the great espresso most everywhere here, so i was excited for this relatively new spot not far from centro cathedral. the baristas were helpful, but the small latte with an extra shot and room on top tasted like milky water. at 81p (56p + 25p extra shot), it is pricier than the best shops in la paz. so they added 2 more shots, and with 4 shots it still had less espresso flavor than a double shot latte at shops i regularly visit in the area. disappointed, but hoping for improvement. nice location only 2 blks from the sea, with sweet sidewalk seating and even a partial water view. hope to write a rave review...

I drove past this café so many times and I finally got to have a coffee there. The coffee was lovely and it is served in nice big mugs, which I appreciate. I also had a quiche which was also really tasty. It was exactly what I needed.

The service was really great as well. Great and friendly service which I truly appreciate. They are also pet friendly. 🐾 Outside seating is available as well as inside.

I'd definitely come back.

I stayed in the same building (Villa Monarka) and this coffee shop is below. During my week stay, I got a coffee every morning. It was good quality and well-prepared. I never had a chance to try the food, but I was offered a free slice of tres leches cake by the owner, Anna. Her hospitality and kindness makes the experience even better.
