Service is good, staff is attentive, prices are fair and the menu es well planned for an Italian restaurant, however, in my opinion the pasta could be better. I still prefer Rolandi's for pasta. Edited on Feb 5th, 2022. Digital menu is complicated, I understand it’s a requirement due to the pandemic but 2 years after it all started, this restaurant hasn’t come up with something that can actually be useful. All you are presented is a QR code and the Wi-fi password so you can pull the menu in your cellphone, we’ll the thing is that the menu is a letter size pdf, the layout is divided in 4 columns to include pictures of the dishes and a brief description of what it is, typical of a menu. The thing is that the whole thing isn’t mobile friendly (see attached photo), you keep zooming in and out to navigate the whole thing, to make matters worse the font size is probably 5 or 6 pt. I requested something printed and they were kind enough to bring me the printed version, still text was too small, think of the really fine print on your credit card contract. It’d be nice if the manager reads this review and does something to make the menu more user friendly, while I was there I saw everyone around was asking for the printed menu and having a difficult time to adjust their reading distance based on their sight capabilities. Why make things complicated for...
Read moreFirst visit to Olive Garden Cancún.
Came specially for the pepperoni pizza, which my daughter had in OG CDMX and said was the best pizza she's ever had (she should know as she has consumed a lot of different pizzas in her 17 years).
Wife and I ordered from the lunch special (spaghetti Margherita w/chicken) menu for the unlimited panolis.
Waiter took our order and came back 2 minutes later apologizing that they didn't have pizza today. Daughter's face dropped and we debated leaving but she opted for lasagna. (Told her she should have had them throw some pepperoni on top to smooth over the disappointment.)
Wife's and my soup arrived and daughter's salad along with our drinks and panolis very quickly.
Unfortunately, wife and daughter were only half way through their soup/salad when waiter brought entrées. Timing way off!
Margherita sauce was a bit bland but daughter's lasagna was quite good. Unfortunately, all the entrées had cooled a bit by the time we started in on them.
Didn't try any desserts.
Giving 3 stars because of delivery times of entrées and having to wait a bit longer than expected for more panolis. Had lasagna not been good, would have given 1 or 2 stars for the fact that waiter wasn't aware that they didn't have pizzas and Margherita sauce's blandness.
Floor manager apologized and promised they'd have pizza...
Read moreI have been going to this Olive Garden from the time it has opened its doors to Cancun residents. The first 3 months were excellent then gradually the quality of food started going down. I have had lunch and dinner there number of times but lately the quality of food has dropped. In Cancun I was proud to say that Olive Garden had the freshest salads how ever now that is not the case. To cut the operation cost you will find 90% fresh and 10% old salad mixed with your salad order. Stakes use to be served with mash potatoes and now with pasta. I am so sad to see such a great franchise Quality drop at this rate. I will say this that as of today I will stop doing business with this branch in Cancun as I have made several complaints with the management there and I have not seen any changes in fact the quality keeps on dropping. If you like to be served well at this branch my suggestion is to go early for lunch or early for dinner. As the servers and the staff are over worked and loose their taste to...
