LUNA ROSSA — Restaurant in Cancún

Read the reviews and decided to give this place a try because it was within walking distance of my hotel. So glad I did. This place is fabulous and the food is some of the best Italian Pasta I have ever eaten. The place was not too too busy and the service was exceptional. Being an American visitor they even provided a menu in English. We ordered the Puttanesca and the Lasagna dishes with fresh made pasta and were totally surprised with how great the taste was. We were really in the mood for good Italian pasta and unfortunately it missed the mark. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't bad, it just didn't scratch the itch.

When we first walked in to the restraunt there was a really strong smell of alone or perfume. We were the only ones there so i think it was just the smell of the place.

Visitamos este lugar a petición de mi esposa, pues lo vió en Instagram y la verdad es que los platillos lucen apetitosos, y la verdad es que solo por la calidad de los platillos les doy 4 estrellas, pero no esperen mucho en cuanto a servicio, al llegar no hay hostess o alguien que te asigne mesa, así que te sientas donde quieras, a los 3 minutos viene la mesera y te deja la carta, regresó a los 5 minutos y ordenamos, pasan como 15 minutos y nos traen unos panes tibios casi fríos, quizá sea por el aire acondicionado del lugar, lo cual se agradece cuando hace calor. Después de otros 15 minutos traes nuestros platillos y bebidas, mi esposa pidió una copa de clericot y un vaso con agua, pero este último jamás llegó, en cuanto nos dejó los platillos, nos ofreció salsas a lo que accedimos una de habanero, bueno yo terminé de comer y apenas la estaban trayendo. Lo puedo entender cuando el lugar está lleno pero el lugar luce al 60%. Creo que es más la falta de personal, pues solo tienen dos meseros y un bartender.

La comida es buena, el servicio hace decaer la experiencia, no obstante, el personal es muy educado y siempre preguntan si se te ofrece algo más.

No creo que regresemos a este lugar, los precios son similares a un Olive Garden pero no se compara...
