Hostal Carcamanes 17 — Hotel in Guanajuato

I've stayed at Hotel Carcamanes twice now: once on my own, and once with my wife. I very highly recommend it for a few reasons:||||1.) It's proximity to the center square - You can be in the center of town in less than 5 minutes walking time. It's deceptively close to everything, so you get the convenience without having to pay extra for it. We walked a LOT but it's also easy to get an Uber or a taxi to pick you up out front.||||2.) Price - this is one of the most affordable boutique hotels in the city. You get comfy rooms, nice views, great in-house bar and food, and very friendly, helpful staff --- at a price point this is just the best I've seen in town.||||3.) Rooms for recharging - the rooms have comfortable beds, space for your things, and spacious bathrooms. In Guanajuato, we spend all our time walking and exploring, so we don't need much in the room. Beautiful hotel with hyper-clean rooms, super friendly staff, and a view. It’s close enough to the city center to walk everywhere, but far enough to enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep. There are parking services that can pick up your car right in front of the hotel, you just need to arrange it in advance on your own.||I’ll always stay here. Beautiful hotel, hyperclean, and the beds are incredibly comfortable. The staff is super friendly, and we had a view. It’s close enough to walk to the city center, but far enough for a quiet, restful night. There are parking services that pick up your car right in front, you just need to arrange it in advance.
