Avoid at all costs. Very poor service. Staff don't care they just want your money. They had a promotion on.. 50% on margaritas and beers. It was written in Spanish.. Which we don't read. I told the front man we only want drinks, he said fine and we could get the 50% off. We had a few drinks. They brought out free tortillas and bread. We didn't want to eat dinner. The bill arrived and it was full price. Plus we were shocked at the price of margaritas which are not listed on the menu! I argued and refused to pay. The managers and staff didnt want to know even though we said the front chap said it was OK. They threatened to call the police. Maybe to scare us. We said no worries. With a few mins 3 police officers arrived. No word of English spoken. The older lady and young skinny manager were very poor with no manners. Others have mentioned them in reviews. Police told us we'd need to go to the station to resolve. Seemed a bit silly but we were ready as we were not in the wrong. They were trying to fleece tourists!!!! It's not on!!!! As we were leaving the lady came running out and agreed to 50% being paid. What a total farce and commotion. They knew if we'd left they wouldn't get a penny. They tried bullying tactics which didn't work. Dont bother going and give your pesos to a more friendly, local...
Read moreI wish I could put negative stars but unfortunately its not possible. This place we had a horrible experience, we didn't even get the chance to eat there. The place was full so we were on the waiting list, which is understandable. Little did I know, a manager named Yolanda let another person walk inside and sit down first and eat. She stated that they had signed the waiting list and that was a lie. We were furious because we were on the list before them. She had the audacity to let them in first. We walked inside to inform her of her mistake and she had the courage to deny it. Instead of apologizing, she began to treat us poorly when we weren't doing anything wrong. She said take it or leave it. On our way out, the door man, Arturo Amador, who was very kind to us, apologized and offered us a table. We did not accept because we didn't feel comfortable. Never will we return to this establishment. It was such a shame that we couldn't try the food. We waited a whole week. My wife felt really bad since she is Mexican born and raised. This place gives a bad name to those who come and visit Guanajuato. For employees like her that don't know how to treat tourist. She...
Read moreSo I am visiting the Leon area for work. A friend of mine from the area and his wife took me to Guanajuerto to see the city and to explore a little bit of the local history.
It is a beautiful place rich with history and culture. The park was hopping with all kinds of activity. I had a wonderful trip.
When it was time to eat, we stopped at Bar Tradicional Luna. The atmosphere was great. The food was awesome. Service was top notch.
The soup that they serve before the meal was excellent. I ordered the ribeye. It was cooked perfectly and the salad was good, as well.
Give them a try. You won't be...
