I traveled tis weekend to the "Festival Internacional Cervantino" in Guanajuato along with my significant other, it was hard to find a place with vacancies even when I tried booking a month before and then I found this place with rooms available, given the price my expectations were not really high, but when I got there I was really surprised right from the first moment, the service was fantastic, the owners knew who I was even before I introduced myself, then they showed us our room, it was nice, quiet, clean and charming, it was not luxurious but believe me, it was much better than hotels charging for more than twice the price in the area! Also I had a safe place to park my car, and talking about the car, it's really tricky to get there but the owners will pick you up if you call them and take you to the place with no additional fees or anything else.||||Once installed we enjoyed a lot of privacy and comfort, it was a trip we really enjoyed and will never forget, and something else, I've never met owners so kind and passionate about their place, tehy really love what they do and are always willing to help so this is a really good...
Read moreWe stayed in Casa Malitsin for three nights in late July 2015 and loved it! The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Up to date and modern and fast wi-fi service, which allowed me to upload my pics of the beautiful city without having to rack up those roaming charges. ||||The only thing that kept this from being a 5-star review is the location. My wife's cousin is in a wheelchair so when we were with her we would just take a taxi back to the hotel.||||HOWEVER ... the owner, Martin, bent over backwards to make sure we were well take care of, including driving us into the city in his own truck every morning. ||||A breakfast is also included ... it's at a small diner called La Terraza. Small selection for the meals but they are all freshly made...

When we first arrived, the owner, Martin, gave us a personal tour down the hillside to the main square to help us find our way. After that we were fine and enjoyed every morning walking down and the evening returns. There are charming houses and little shops along the way, with vendors selling tamales, flowers, etc. We felt like part of the community and safe everywhere we went with the usual precautions. ||We had many valued conversations with Martin and he went out of his way to assist us and make us feel at home. All of his tips and recommendations were "spot on." We would definitely...
