Hey have stayed here a lot for about 8 months I was here just about every week or 10 days. A lot has changed. No reason to stay here anymore lot more options available in Cabo now. like the Airbnb same rate much better location, room, environment ||||Room is very basic, cold, uninviting, loud music blaring at 5a in the morning every morning from a business down below no concerns for anyone sleeping. ||||Breakfast used to be pretty good nice hot/cold buffet now you get 2 choices. Eggs beans and toast or I should say (1 egg beans toast) and the portion size is child’s size. Or cereal and fruit. If you want any combination of these it’s 80.00 pesos. ||||I ended up having to leave and cut my stay short due to a family emergency I purchased a nightly room rate that allowed a refund with 1 nights penalty. Manager refused to give my money back for the additional 12 nights and even modified my record to look as if I purchased a non refundable type rate to back up his story, but I didn’t it was a refundable type. Either way they stole my money 11 nights is a lot of money. They were advised of my situation before I arrived at the hotel of the possibility of my stay being shortened. As a consumer I did everything I was suppose to do. Manager Felipe was a nightmare to talk to the look on his face was terrible no compassion no trying to help with my family emergency he didn’t give a s..t about my situation and refused to give my refundable rate balance back and even had someone falsify my nightly record for the 7 days I was there. His answer was I could come back and use the nights again... I ask you why would I ever come back if they weren’t willing to help me in a crisis time. I want the balance of the money back as I purchased a refundable room rate. ||||2 of the employees were compassionate friendly and genuinely concerned about my situation to them thank you they are customer service minded and tried help as much as they could but ultimately they were not the one to make the decision Felipe the manager. Horrible, unconcerned, no help at all.. ||||I tried to deal with the situation for 3 days before I left and of course he didn’t do anything about it in those 3 days now I’m out of time forced to leave and the situation still isn’t solved now...

CHECK IN: arrived at 1:00 PM , the hotel is completely empty and yet they will not give you a room until 2pm. why make people wait after a long flight if the rooms are available??! they will charge ypu $80 if you dont return the AC and TV remote upon check out
PARKING: they ask you to leave your keys with reception in case they need to move your car. we did not do it cos we had a rental and are liable for it. do not trust them with your car.
ROOM: they gave us a room on the first floor- completely facing the street so a lot of noise, there was a used toothpick under the table —- we asked to be transferred in the afternoon and receptionist said no room was available… OK FINE…..
so around 8pm—- the first time we used the toilet it was clogged and when flushed, water overflowed and filled up the entire room even until outside the hotel door. WHAT KIND OF TOILETS DO THEY HAVE!! when we went to complain suddenly they had rooms available (?!) they had us transferred to the third floor, completely empty i dont know why they put people on horrible rooms in the first place.
MOSQUITOES in the room too- good we had mosquito coils.
FREE BREAKFAST WAS A DISGUSTING MESS! they put everyone in a small badly ventilated room with only 2 tables outdoors and have 1 guy managing the place at 7:30 am.. there was a long wait and people were crammed in a small room waiting to be seated. NO COVID PROTOCOLS WHATSOEVER. floor was dirty and more than 5 birds were entering to eat crumbs from the floor!!!
food was 1 scrambled egg almost cold, 1 piece of toast and canned beans. they seem to use disgusting plastic plates and their cups had coffee stains from previous use! HIGHLY UNSANITARY.

Read moreI love the size and scale of this hotel. The courtyard and pool area is perfect for staging your daily coming and going from the hotel. The location is unmatched for the price. My elderly mother could walk to all the main tourist locations in Cabo ie Madano beach, the Marina and tourist shops. The room as well as the area around the hotel was immaculate. And we always felt safe. The streets are well lit and and the sidewalks are all fairly nice to walk on. The bed and pillows were real comfy. And the room although dated was very clean and the bathroom was spacious. The concierge and staff were absolutely helpful and friendly. The valet for the car was very efficient we never had to wait. Was very good to know the car was secured in their parking lot. Only draw back… rooms have minimal amenities ours only had a Fridge and a TV. The TV channels are okay. The main draw back is the wifi wasn’t good enough to FaceTime my family back home. However the cell service is full bars so if your cellphone plan is good you’ll be okay. Really it’s a 3 star hotel but you know what I had a 5 star stay. I loved it. The hotel I just loved. Be warned there is a rather noisy bar close to the cheaper rooms you will need ear plugs or headphones to cut the noise. This will ruin your stay if you can’t handle it.
