We spent five nights at NaNa Vida in Roma Norte, and it was the perfect hub for exploring Mexico City’s rich history, vibrant neighbourhoods, and, of course, its incredible food scene. We stayed in Room 8, which was spacious, spotlessly clean, and featured a super comfortable king bed. The shower was hot and powerful—though it needed a little time to warm up, which was a small price to pay for a proper soak after long days of adventuring. The service was outstanding—special mention to Olivia, our lovely room attendant, who was friendly and attentive despite my less-than-stellar Spanish. The front desk staff were equally fantastic, always welcoming and ready with recommendations or just a warm smile. It’s the small touches that make NaNa Vida feel like a home away from home—unlimited water, Coca-Cola, a coffee station, and even a few treats made all the difference after a day of exploring. A few things to note: • Not disability-friendly—There are no elevators, so you’ll need to carry your luggage up at least one, possibly two flights of stairs, depending on your room’s location. • No signage out front—Look for 161 above the door, and ring the bell to be let in. It’s easy to miss! • Strongly scented linens & towels—If you have allergies or are sensitive to fragrances, be aware. • Street noise—Roma Norte is lively, so light sleepers should bring earplugs (or use the foam plugs provided in the room). Overall, NaNa Vida is a fantastic place to stay—comfortable, welcoming, and in the heart of one of CDMX’s best neighbourhoods. Highly recommend!

I can’t imagine having a more positive welcome to a city than we received from the staff at NaNa Vida. Every staff member was warm, welcoming and endlessly helpful. The facilities were wonderful and exceeded our expectations. The room was bright, spacious and the bed was huge and comfortable. The location was perfect for myself and my partner (who are in our late 20s/early 30s) - lots around within walking distance in a really beautiful neighbourhood. The neighbourhood is lively at night (as you would hope for a city!) and the staff at Na Na Vida have really thought of everything, the room was equipped with a white noise machine and ear plugs (a very nice touch)! The communal spaces were a lovely touch too, from the roof terrace to the complementary sweet and mezcal bars, the little touches went a really long way to making for a fabulous experience. There were fresh flowers in our room, the Christmas decorations were so vibrant and beautiful. I cannot complement the place enough, it was really special. We had such a comfortable stay, the extra touches to the hotel really made all the difference. It felt very personable and like we were really being treated and looked after. I would 1000% stay here again and recommend for sure! Thank-you team for looking after us and making my partner’s birthday and our lead up to Christmas so special, you’re all wonderful!

Clean, nicely decorated rooms in a great location with wonderful service. We stayed in a regular King room in March. Other reviews were accurate: they offer a lot of free goodies and although we didn't make use of their help for booking tours/cars, we did hear overhear the front desk very patiently helping some other troublesome visitors for a while (in English too!) We felt safe walking around the area together at night (10pm). Overall, we would love to stay here again and highly recommend. Pros: - Has A/C air conditioning units in the rooms - Free pastries, tea, coffee, candy bar, mezcal bar, cooler with bottled water, soda at all hours in the common areas - 24 hour access to the rooftop lounge area - Check in gift of hand crafted soap per person (you choose a scent). This is separate from the basic toiletries in the room. - Check out gift of traditional Mexican dress for ladies and coffee grounds from Oaxaca - Helpful bilingual service - Happy to hold our bags for a few hours after check out - Provided hair dryer, iron, and safe Cons: - Toiletries a bit basic (2 in 1 shampoo). No facial tissues box. - Not wheelchair accessible (stairs everywhere) - Not the newest building, but honestly very clean and has much more character than a brand name high rise hotel
