Villa Savina — Hotel in Pedregal

Amazing!

I believe I was one of the first to stay at Villa Savina after the new owners purchased the property and remodeled it. The Villa is absolutely stunning! This place is perfect for a family or group trip. We went to Cabo to celebrate a birthday and this Villa was ideal. We had such a great trip thanks to the incredible house staff and the beauty and utility of the house for our group.

The house is in Pedregal which is next to the craziness of Cabo but affords you some privacy because it's set up on a hillside. There are sweeping views of the ocean from every room, as well as all of the balconies and outdoor areas. The rooms and bathrooms are first class. It's like having your own private hotel with all of the amenities, but better. The house is fully equipped - down to shampoo, sunscreen, etc. - and there's a private staff for the house who are able to coordinate whatever you need. For lunch one day, we were able to get food for a bbq using the full outdoor kitchen. The staff was able to make our birthday celebration special by coordinating a phenomenal local chef and local band as well as getting us a specialty cake. They also prepared breakfast daily, which was included with the price, and it was delicious. Some of the best chilaquiles and chorizo I've had.

The star of the property is the third floor living area which is perfectly decorated and opens up to a large infinity pool where you can lounge or swim laps. This area is perfect for entertaining as it has an area to watch TV, cook and dine, lounge and swim, bbq outdoors, etc. There are speakers inside and out which sounded great and the property also has a bocce ball court and small putting green. We spent 90% of our trip here. No one wanted to leave the house. I don't think any description of the property would do it justice, it was so beautiful.

We did venture out a couple of nights and the location of the Villa was perfect. It only took 10 minutes to get to the restaurants/bars. I walked down to the Pedragal beach one day which only took about 15/20 minutes. The walk was a nice workout, but the house also has a full gym. Bigger than most hotel gyms. Also critical was the wifi, which worked great. I was able to work Monday morning before my flight home with no issues connecting to my zoom meetings. The Villa is also in a gated community and each room has its own private keyless entry code, which I really liked.

I cannot recommend this place enough for you and your group. My friends and I do a lot of traveling in large groups in Airbnbs and similar villas and Savina is the only place we've ever considered (and ended up) doing a repeat booking. Villa Savina has become an annual trip for my friends and I am leaving this review after our second trip (having first been in 2022).

What really sets Savina apart from other experiences is the staff - they are full service and are the key to your trip and having an unforgettable experience. Both times they have paired us up with great chefs that come to villa and curate fantastic meals for you and your group. If you'd prefer to eat out and do activities in town, they will also help you book all of your reservations with no issues. They help make your travel painless by connecting you with a shuttle company and ensuring you can get to and from where you need to go while you're in town. They'll go out and do large group grocery orders for your group (daily) to ensure you have everything you need at home. More importantly, they are all great and kind people that just want to make sure you enjoy your stay. They also make great drinks and cocktails that you can sip by the poolside. They even get the small details down like having fresh and dry towels ready for you on a daily basis for your large group (how many of us have stayed somewhere where they were short towels or you had to run the load yourself??)

Secondly, the villa is absolutely stunning. The pictures really don't do the place justice and somehow it's even more amazing in person. The space is huge and very comfortable for max capacity of 16 people. All the bedrooms are incredibly comfortable with their own full bathrooms. The beds and furnishings are not cheap and you really are getting your moneys worth with your stay. There's SONOs in every room, the pool is always heated and directly under the sun. The gym is better than some hotel gyms I've seen (they added a Peloton this year and the view is incredible). What's better than getting a morning lift in and them jumping into an 80 foot pool after?

What's even better - they are doing some upgrading to the villa (not that the place needs it at all) and are always looking at how to increase the guest experience. I am looking forward to seeing them in person next year when we return for our 3rd...

The spacious living areas, elegant bedrooms, and immaculate bathrooms all exuded luxury and comfort.

One of the highlights of my stay was the impeccable service provided by the house staff. They were responsive, accommodating, and attentive to every need, making me feel like a valued guest.

The amenities provided were nothing short of extraordinary. The property boasted a private infinity pool/hot tub and a well-equipped fitness center. The attention to detail in providing these amenities truly elevated my stay and made it an unforgettable experience.

I also appreciated the convenience of the location. The property was conveniently located near popular attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas, making it easy for me to explore the local culture and experience the best of what the destination had to offer.

In summary, my stay at Villa Savina was an experience of a lifetime. The stunning location, exquisite design, top-notch amenities, and exceptional service provided by the host exceeded all my expectations.
