Regarding the last owner's reply: Dear whoever wrote this lovely corporate fairytale, Thank you for your prompt attempt at damage control, though I must admit, reading your reply was almost as surreal as eating your gnocchi. Let me clarify something, since there seems to be a considerable gap between the universe where your gnocchi is âhandcraftedâ and âfreshly cookedâ, and the very real, cold plate that was dumped in front of me in what must have been under two minutes. Unless your chef is a magician â or a microwave â the timeline simply doesn't add up. You say the dish is served warm and that no microwaves are used. Thatâs truly charming. Unfortunately, my gnocchi were lukewarm at best, and the âroasted tomatoesâ were stone-cold, raw cherry tomatoes straight from a supermarket tub. Not âlightly roastedâ just not roasted. At all. As for the sauce if âbutter and fresh sageâ tastes like over-salted powder from a packet, then perhaps we have very different standards of taste. I wasn't alone, my friend can confirm what I'm telling. it wasnât just ânot to my liking.â It was objectively more than disappointing. You also claim the portion is âa first course.â That would be fine if it werenât priced like a gourmet main course. And letâs be honest: real Italians do serve pasta as a first course and theyâre famously generous with their portions. What you served was not a portion. It was a portion suited for a sparrow. I understand youâre trying to protect your image, but gaslighting your customers isnât the way to do it. What you served wasnât Italian food. It was a parody of it. Next time, be honest: call it âInterpretive Postmodern Pastaâ and market it as performance art. That way, weâll all know not to expect actual food. Sincerely, An involuntary survivor of...

We got a patio table for a party of 8 pretty last minute on a Friday via OpenTable. The ambiance was really romantic complete with dim lighting and a live band.
First the good: Get caesar salad! They prepare the dressing from scratch tableside. And lits delicious. The best caesar I've had to date. My friends eggless saffron pasta was the best actual pasta, super chewy and the best mouthfeel, while my other friend's Bolognese sauce was the best sauce, sooo incredibly meaty with excellent flavor.
The okay: Carpaccio was alright, not memorable. Calamari had a variety of seafood, nothing to write home about. I did enjoy the lemon tartar sauce, the squid ink sauce had no discernable flavor. The carbonara was great but way too rich for one person to finish. I couldn't do it after two bites.
Finally, the not so great: Seafood linguine was very mediocre, pasta was slightly over al dente and honestly couldn't tell the difference between boxed pasta. Short rib cannelloni was not my cup of tea. The braised short ribs were amazing but the dish itself was not cohesive.
Free mojito, margarita, piña colada if you...
Read moreWe went based off reviews, the atmosphere was incredible they had a live guitar player and beautiful ambiance. However the service does not reflect the prices you pay.
We were sat without menus, waiter then said he could verbally explain the bar list (we wanted to check wines and prices) drinks did not come out until after our appetizer arrived. We got the Burrata, which didnât come with anything special, one small fig when the menu says âBurrata & Figâ. I was between 2 dishes and asked our waiter his opinion as I usually trust their advice, I worked in service industry and understand they see every dish that comes out. I was going to get the mushroom pasta and he insisted on the short rib. It was a very small portion and one of the most expensive pastas on the menu. The ribs were dry, I had better beef birria street tocos than this. We waited over 45 minutes for the food (which our server did apologize for) and did not want to make my family wait if I ordered something else.
I would suggest not coming hungry and set your expectations to pay more than you would in North America...
