Went there on a recommendation from a concierge, but were quite disappointed in the food and service. We ordered the coctel de camarón, mariscado fria camarón cocido, camarón crudo, pulpo, almeja, arose de calamar frito, and callo mano de león. The shrimp cocktail was the worst. Shrimp was overdone and came in a watered down clamato juice. It needed salt, spice, and acid bad! 😅 the cold plate was ok. The sashimi tuna had too much soy on it and was unbearably salty, the raw shrimp with Verde sauce my fiance enjoyed (the texture was not for me), the octopus was chewy and tough as were the clams and shrimp, but the seasoning was decent. We thought for sure they wouldn't mess up the fried calamari, but it was actually one of my least favorite dishes. The calamari itself was tough, the breading had no seasoning, and the oil they cooked it in tasted rancid. I ate one piece and was over it. 😅 the only dish to save the meal was the scallops in the cream sauce. The sauce was amazing!!! The scallops were almost cooked perfect, I think because it comes in a hot cast iron it continued to cook on the way to our table and ended up just a touch overdone. The mezcal Tamarindo margarita was delicious. We finished with flan which was ok. I think I went in with high expectations because this was supposedly the best seafood spot in cabo, but I wouldn't go again. Service was also subpar. The staff seemed to be off in their own world the whole time and even tho we were the only ones in the restaurant, it took forever to get anything. Perhaps it's a culture thing? The head chef seemed to be staring us down angrily the last half of the meal (we were polite and didn't complain the whole time) which made me uncomfortable and I wanted to get out of there asap. They forgot our bottle water and tried to charge it for us in the end which I pointed out to our server and he graciously took it off our bill. Overall, would...
Read moreIf you’re looking for the best mariscos in Los Cabos, look no further than Las Mariscadas! My partner and I had the absolute pleasure of dining here, and we were blown away by the experience from start to finish.
The seafood was simply spectacular—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We tried several dishes upon our terrific waiter Alphonso’s recommendation: the fresh scallops, the cold seafood platter, and the red snapper. Each one was better than the last. Whether you’re a seafood lover or just looking for a fantastic, authentic meal after a week of bland resort food, you won’t be disappointed.
But what truly made our evening unforgettable was the exceptional service we received from Alphonso. He was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made us feel like the most important guests in the restaurant. His recommendations were spot-on, and he made sure we were completely taken care of throughout our meal.
This place is a gem in Los Cabos, and we can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend Las Mariscadas for anyone visiting the area—you...

The place is larger than I expected. It’s got great ambiance, graced by a guitarist 🎼🎼🎼 strumming and plucking through love melodies at dinner time . From his repertoire, it sounds he’s classically trained😎😎😎.
The menu is shortish, all seafood and highlighted traditional Mexican cooking 👏👏👏.
There’s also a wine list that featured Mexican wines. The Guadalupe Sauvignon Blanc was perfect—it has the lightness of a Blanc and Crispness of a champagne… WOW🥂🥂🥂.
The Atun Sashimi is a Mexican version of a crudo, not the Japanese one. BUT it’s terrific.👌👌👌. The sauce is both light and tangy with a kick of slices of jalapeño.
The pièce de la résistance is the Pescado Entero, whole fresh snapper grilled to perfection 🤩🤩🤩. Simple seasoning but crisp and clean, served with Mexican rice pilaf, grilled veggies and freshly made corn tortilla.
TERRIFIC DINNER and...
