This place is lovely and charming. I'm from Colorado, so I had to stay! But, the prices were totally unbeatable for anything else in the area, and the reviews looked great. I reserved a private room with an AC. Beds are comfortable enough, tv in room, clean towels, bath mat, and a bar of soap in the private bathroom inside my room. Water pressure in the shower is we ak, but stay ed warm when I turned on the hot water, although it did take a while to warm up. The host that checked me in was extremely nice and helpful, as he helped me park my car at night and waved me down in the street because I was having trouble finding the address. The address on Google and hostelworld is incorrect. It is a block and a half further towards the beach than what shows up on Google maps. The room is spacious, has lots of shelving, a hanging rod with hangers for your clothes, a table and chairs, refrigerator, cable TV, and free Wi-Fi. Close to lots of restaurants and all the main attractions. Safe neighborhood, nice and quiet. I highly recommend for a nice quaint stay in Playa. My only complaint is the pillows I had were literally the worst I've ever slept on. They were full of thick, hard lumps of cooked up cotton. I had to sleep on a stack of my clothes the 2nd night because the 1st night was unbearable and impossible to sleep the entire night through thanks to those pillows. Also, after staying in Mexico for 10 days, and see ing different cities, I have come to know that it is unheard of for a hostile or hotel on a budget to provide you with a blanket. Just sheets. I personally prefer a blanket even when it is warm because of the feeling of weight and security...

Read moreStayed in a clean twin room with air con for a week to explore Cozumel, cenotes, Isla mujeres and Tulum. Super close to collectivos congregating on corner for cheap trips up and down coast, post office on next block, ten min walk to ADO bus terminal for long distance buses and Cancun airport only 1 hour 15 away for 178 pesos. No balconies or sea breezes but short walk to beach and strip. Feels like Mexico as there's little taquerias and cheap cafes to eat, away from the big bold brash tourist hassle-fest that is the main strip. Quiet. No frills, this place isn't flash and doesn't include breakfast. But good value if you're on a budget due to spending a...
