We stayed here during our trip to Tulum and it was amazing. We checked in a little earlier than expected but the young lady at the front desk was super friendly and let us keep our luggage in a secure area. The whole process was fast and the location is great! The hotel from the outside and inside offered vibrant color schemes and the rooms were very comfortable for the price. We will definitely want to stay again when we come back to Tulum! We werenât able to go to the Gran Cenote like we planned due to timing but itâs on our future bucket list. The breakfast that was included at the hotel was delicious and very well presented. Fresh fruit of different types, eggs, juices, coffee. So good! One of my favorite parts about Mexico was the fresh squeezed juices and local cuisine. The hotel has a very nice pool on the roof and itâs beautiful at night! We stayed here during âDia de los Reyesâ Kings Day, January 6. There was a festival (Rosca de Reyes) just blocks away from this hotel and everyone was super nice and welcoming. We took part in the festival and had free kings cake. This was the first time Iâd tried it and we thought it was very delicious! I canât wait to have it again! Yum! I would highly recommend this Funky-Fresh place to anyone looking to have a great time in Tulum and not break the bank! Both sides of the street are full of shops, bicycle rentals (recommended for travel) and tons of delicious Mexican food. Thank you for making our trip an amazing experience. â€ïž We canât wait to return for more...

This place is dead and there's a good reason why - MANAGEMENT IS TERRIBLE.
We were going to stay two nights but had to leave after the first one because the water and electricity stopped working a couple of hours after we arrived and the handling of the situation was very very poor to say the least, both by the lady at the reception and the owner/manager of the hotel.
They kept telling us it'd be resolved in half an hour and we didn't even have wifi to check for other places so we spent the night in 40 degrees heat (not even the fans worked!) unable to even flush the toilet (or wash our hands, or brush our teeth, or take a shower...).
We didn't even complain, we understand things like this can happen, but we still had to deal with the owner/manager screaming at us and threatening us with keeping our passport because we weren't willing to pay full price (we were willing to pay half price from the beginning even though we definitely didn't get a service worth that much).
Far from being apologetic, they never checked on us, offered water or anything that could've made the situation better. The reason we strongly advice you don't stay here is not the water/electricity issue, it's how badly the situation was managed and how poorly we...
