For my american who cant read the top, this bar is a must experience without miss if your in Tulum, Cancun. If you here to have a good time and from SD Cali life. North park / Hillcrest/ Downtown. You can't miss this bar for its life style and humility with bartender out of this world . Prices are a bit high for the area, but you'll still be surprise how far your money still goes for these high A1 drinks. No charge fee or reservation is needed so save that money for your drinks but will get crowded in most visited seasons. Must meet bartender who go the extra mile for you; Barrios; most determined outgoing female bartender you'll meet, as she is always to please your experience, Another you get the chance to meet is Boludo ( Boo-luu-doo) must say his name in the most Argentina accent as possible to call him over, and once you do; he'll will greet you with the most humble smile and best fun experience you can ask for while ordering your drinks. Now saying all this , I'll ask if you can speaking spanish as much possible to help them serve your drinks without delay. Trust and have fun... Sorry, last thing before I get out, music environment hit like trance or mellow tone for there theme bar, but there's event where that may change with hidden stars. For more information get in contact with the bar itself. Time verys for closing so also do check with them especially in these epidemic time we're still facing. Hopefully this...
Read moreIf you’re in Tulum make a point to have lunch or dinner here. We went to town to get lunch and stumbled across Encanto as we parked randomly and walked by. We almost didn’t head inside but the very nice server encouraged us to try them out and I’m SO glad we did! From the outside you would never realize how stunning and beautiful the restaurant is. It’s in the middle of a typical street full of souvenir shops and businesses. As soon as we walked inside to the garden it was like we had been transported to a beautiful Eden full of greenery, cozy seating and hanging lights.
The menu is huge! My husband and I had the sizzling chicken rice bowl, fried fish tacos, chicken tacos (They made these off menu for us) and a steak taco. The rice bowl was our favorite - crispy, hot, full of diced veggies and accompanied by a tangy orange sauce with a hint of spicy kick. Just enough. We poured the orange sauce on our tacos because it’s one of those that complements any and all food!
The fried fish was light and crispy and all the tacos came packed with meat, onions and cilantro.
The cocktails were prepared beautifully, flavorfully and creatively.
If we were in Mexico longer we would certainly return for...

The steak was tasty and came with fries and guacamole mash but really, there was nothing to brag about and definitely not worth the price. It's the same idea for wife's salad. Very average taste and quality for price. What bothered me the most was the pre-charged 20% tip included in bill; this is on top of 4% charge for using credit card. Tip showed as a suggested amount without the actual percentage value nor there were other options to pick. Kinda leaves one stunned trying to figure this out on the spot. Now I'd be ok paying 20% if service was good but that wasn't the case. The waitress was practically non-existent and only interacted with us for ordering and paying. Never did she approach to ask how our meal was nor to even wipe table or create some sort of rapport. Hopefully, the restaurant remedies this with their billing system as it feels like highway robbery.
In terms of the place, it's very well decorated and does have a good ambiance but unfortunately, i will not be recommending this place. There's lots of other great restaurants nearby.
Dont let this discourage you...
