Nuée Tulum by G Hotels — Hotel in Quintana Roo

We personally had an excellent experience at this hotel. We arrived around 7pm on Tuesday and were helped immediately to get checked into our king room with a small private pool. Our room was super clean and our private pool was also clean. I really loved having a kitchenette to cook breakfast. The stovetop was a little temperamental to turn on, but once we got used to it it was fine. We had just one small pot and medium pan for cooking but it was sufficient for us. There's also a microwave and mini fridge. They provided food and beverage items in the room for charge, but we just put those to the side and purchased our own groceries down the street at Aki grocery store. Our room was the first room on the first floor next to the lobby and exit onto the street. The first night (Tuesday) we did hear some music from the gentlemen's club / bar across the street. The other nights weren't really that noisy, even on Friday. If you're bothered by any noise though bring earplugs, especially if you're planning to rent the rooms with the private pools as they are all on the first floor. Again, none of the noise really bothered us, and the only time we found it loud was in the morning when people were leaving and staff were coming in to clean and check people in. We do sleep in very late though, so the noise wasn't out of the ordinary for hotel hustle and bustle at 9am. We used earplugs in the morning being late sleepers. The hot water in the shower takes about 5 minutes to heat up and the shower pressure wasn't great but was sufficient. The private pool was a little chilly, and it can't be heated up, but it made for a refreshing dip after long bike rides from the beach or around centro. I thought the location was great. The hotel is 2 blocks off the main road where there are a ton of food and beverage options as well as shopping. There are also lots of food trucks / carts nearby if that's your thing. It's close to a gas station / convenience store and a large grocery store, Aki. It's only a few blocks away from Kar Kun bike rental shop, next to the Santander bank, (grab a bike from Ari here!) and Bo Laundry service. 15 minute walk from Centro Ado Bus Terminal 15 minute bike ride to the ruins 15 minute bike ride to Grand Cenote 15-20 minute bike ride to the beach The hotel staff will store your bikes in a private staff / storage room area near the lobby. We didn't feel unsafe walking in the neighborhood. We would definitely return, especially for the excellent and inexpensive pricing and great service...

There's nothing to like about this absolute disgrace of a hotel! If you're thinking of staying here, don't! I don't even know where to begin with how bad an experience this hotel is! Room was dirty and mouldy and stank! Don't be fooled by the photos, the reality is much much different!||First there was no water at all, then far too much, as water literally poured from a room on 4th floor..flooding corridor on every floor below... this disabled and broke the electronic keypad entry, so I can't tell you how room would be for sleeping! My wife and I were locked out of room all night, as staff onsite firstly denied they were staff and then just said it wasn't there problem! Only other contact is WhatsApp number but you may as well bang head on wall because they either don't respond or just treat you abysmally...||Situation was finally ended over 12 hours later when hotel finally paid local locksmith to break in.. since they have accused us of breaking door(even though they know my wife filmed them breaking door themselves) assaulting staff and leaving drugs in room...this is beyond a joke from these ignorant scamming scum! They refuse any sort of refund and now claim we left drugs in our room, that we're racist, xenophobic and commited gender violence, when in fact i was assaulted by a member of their staff!!... police were called by us on 2 occasions and all staff disappear like rats on their arrival, presumably they're employing illegal workers... this was the worst experience I've had in over 40 years of travel...do not allow these lying people to ruin your stay in Tulum..they take pride in doing this to people! No doubt there will be a ridiculous response to this from their joke 'staff' DO NOT BE FOOLED, YOU WILL DEFINITELY REGRET IT!!!!||See photos below tbat show their peepholes into every bathroom- they're disgraceful horrible people!!!||Also included photos of the "private jacuzzi" which was filthy and had a small amount of rank water!!!||Deluxe King Suite||2 nights ·...
