We were in Tulum for a month and came here four times (would have shopped more frequently had we discovered it sooner). Every employee was knowledgeable and friendly and then on our last visit we had the opportunity to meet the owner. He is so passionate and a person who has clearly thought through every single aspect of the business when it comes to sustainability.

The yucatella is addicting. The kombucha, coco yogurt, cold brew, falafel, veganaise...all fantastic. I only wish we could have tried everything. A must-visit in Tulum - truly a life-saver. The store is small but packed with artisanal and crafted fermented foods and beverages. Every single flavor of kombucha was phenomenal - some of the best I’ve ever had. They also make delicious cold brewed coffee and tepache. Their jarred fermented foods were exactly what my gut biome needed to counteract the usual digestion issues I get while traveling (the carrots are an excellent snack - we went back for a second HUGE jar mid-way through our stay). This store is an absolute gem and life saver if you’re health conscious. It’s pretty expensive but definitely worth it! Everything is labeled with the price so there’s no worries about getting ripped off. I couldn’t find any natural/ no added sugar peanut butter or almond butter at any other store.
