Our hotel rooms (this is both a hotel and a hostel, where some rooms share bathrooms and a kitchen) were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and the hotel staff were helpful with advice and addressing our needs. The restaurant was a little slow at breakfast time, but we were able to eat near the courtyard swimming pool, so no complaints there - and we were adequately warned on the one morning we were in a particular hurry. Parking for our rental car was free, safe, and convenient (and someone helpfully knocked on our door one night when they noticed we'd left an interior light on). The rooms were lovely, spacious and perfect for relaxing. Our room also had a large fridge in which we could cool beers that we bought from the nearby market. There was also a lovely pool area and a great terrace where you could relax.
The hotel offers a good breakfast, which is a convenient option, but there are also many places within walking distance. Overall, it's a great place to explore Valladolid on foot.
The hotel also offers many tours. However, we decided to visit Chichen Itza independently and took public transport (collectivo) to get there.
