Delicious Kebabs served here! This is hands-down the best kefta (beef) I've had. My husband and I I ordered the chicken and beef mixed plate for lunxh. Everything tasted amazing, but the kefta blew my mind. It was so good that we came back here for dinner on the same day! The plate comes with quite a good amount of Kebabs, bread, salad (more like a salsa, but it was extremely delicious to eat with the Kebabs), and mint tea. It was 60 Dirham for plate. It was a small stall, and ae sat outside the stall with a table facing the street of the Medina - perfect for people watching and a true local experience. Highly recommend it!!

A bit hard to find (Google Maps is not really accurate in Fez medina due to high density of buildings) but way worth the search. The place can get crowded since there are only around 10 seated places, though in can be taken out and eat while walking The meat is fresh and perfectly cooked. One serving is enough for most people, with five skewers of chicken, beef or liver and bread for just 20MAD/DH (~€1,8). You won't get any better deal than this. It is also very delicious but be aware of the spiciness 😅 The location is right by the Blue Gate, so you're at the beginning of the Old Medina. Can only recommend.

This place was my first meal in Africa - I loved it so much that I returned for my last meal before leaving! Located on one of the bustling main streets of the medina, dining atmosphere adds a nice people watching experience. Most importantly though, the meat was generously portioned and delicious! We got mixed portions which will depend on what's available and how many people. First meal was a huge portion of meats (2 plates!) with tomato salad, olives, and mint tea for 65 Dh. Second meal was similar but with smaller portion for 40 Dh

Incredible experience. Owner is kind and welcoming and has a dining area inside his shop as well as 5 spots outside. The madina is busy so the inside spot is a nice break from the crowds. The prices are incredible, a sandwich with freshly bbqed meat is roughly 20 MAD. We ordered the camel meat sandwich and it was so juicy and so good and we loved it so much that we then ordered lamb chops. The meat is delicious and the service is amazing and I would highly recommend the spot.

Don't judge a book by its cover. From the outside it doesn't look so inviting, but the food... Let me tell you about the food. I had the lamb chops, and they were the best ones I ever had in my life. The owner is a very nice guy and took a photo with us. He deserves a Netflix documentary and a Michelin star for his food. Every bite was like an explosion of flavours in your mouth. I think he is using some kind of magic and not spices. A MUST DO in Fes.

The reason that the rating is so high is because the owner will ask the customers for five stars after they finish. Service is part of the dining experience, but the more important thing is the food! The food is not hygiene and safe to clean. It is the only store that use red light on this street. And you can’t tell the meat is good or bad under the red light. Also The lamb chop is partially raw and I had serious Gastroenteritis after this.
