RIAD FZ MARRAKECH — Hotel in Marrakesh Prefecture

Lovely Riad run by two brothers, Mohammed and Allie who were born and raised in this family home. The hosts went out of their way to assist us by walking us to the market to orientate ourselves on day one. Allie and Mohammed also arranged airport shuttles services, hot air balloon trip and Atlas mountaintop excursions at a reasonable rate. We struggled to book tickets online for the Jardin and Mohammed kindly did this for us as well. ||Rooms are exceptionally clean and serviced daily. We had the very spacious deluxe apartment with courtyard and we received an authentic experience with the courtyard being open allowing birds to fly in to the ground floor apartment.||No fault to the owners but the riad is located next to an unsightly building that was badly damaged during the earthquake in September 2023 and is in the process of being demolished. So don’t be alarmed when you get there. ||Pros:|Central location as you are staying in the market area.|Excellent breakfast of fried eggs, breads, yoghurt and tea or coffee|Superb hosts that are willing to go the extra mile to ensure your comfort and ease of stay|Very comfortable beds with sufficient warm blankets.|Heaters available in all the rooms|Small kitchenette with kettle, fridge and two plate stove||Cons:|Not a big issue but the shower has hand shower and overhead shower spray that opens at the same time.||All in all, my family and I had a lovely experience and felt welcomed and right at home. If we were to visit Marrakech again we would only stay at this lodging. I would highly recommend that you give it a try. ||Tips:|This riad is in the heart of the medina so your taxi won’t be able to access it. Our stay at Riad FZ Marrakech was absolutely fantastic! The Airbnb is a beautiful, authentic riad with so much attention to detail in the design and cleanliness. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and decorated in a way that made us feel like we were living 1001 nights.

The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to all the major attractions, markets, and restaurants, yet peaceful and quiet when you return after a day of exploring.

One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible Moroccan breakfast served on the rooftop each morning. Starting our day with fresh traditional Moroccan tea and fresh eggs and bread was a perfect way to begin each day.

But what truly made our stay special was the amazing hospitality from our hosts, Ali and Simo. They were incredibly kind, attentive, and always available whenever we needed anything. Whether it was offering advice on where to go, arranging transportation, or helping us with our transfer back to Casablanca, they went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience possible.

We would come back to Marrakech just to stay at Riad FZ again! Highly recommended to anyone looking for a perfect place to stay with...

Sehr zufrieden!! TOP! Wir waren für fast eine Woche in dieser wunderschönen Unterkunft. Die Besitzer Simo und Ali haben uns sehr herzlich begrüßt und empfangen + direkt Getränke angeboten.

Zimmer: Wir haben die unterste Etage gehabt. Zwei Schlafzimmer, eine Küche, ein WC, ein Flur mit Esstisch und offenem Dach und eine gemütliche Sitzecke mit Fernseher. Genug Platz hatten wir im Raum. Nur ein Spiegel (außer das auf dem Wc) hatte uns gefehlt, wo sich Simo direkt gekümmert hat und wir am nächsten Tag einen Ganzkörperspiegel bekomme haben. Top Service

Frühstück: Das Frühstück auf dem Dach war auch sehr lecker. Jeden Morgen kamen Simo und Ali und haben uns das Frühstück mit serviert + smalltalk. Es gab einheimisches Frühstück. Die Sesampaste war das leckerste von allen. Kaffe und Orangensaft gab es auch. Nicht erschrecken, der Orangensaft ist von Natur aus so süß :)

Gastfreundlichkeit: Simo und Ali waren sehr freundlich und immer gut gelaunt. Zum Frühstück hat man sich dann immer unterhalten und gute Tipps bekommen, sei es wo man essen gehen kann oder auch Orte, die man besuchen sollte. Auch haben die Jungs uns gezeigt, wie der leckere marokkanische Tee gemacht wird. Danke nochmals für alles!

Für wenig Geld konnten wir auch vorher einen Transfer vom und zum Flughafen von der Unterkunft aus buchen. (Instagram: fzmar.rakech).
