I selected this restaurant solely on the overwhelmingly positive reviews on TripAdvisor. As it turns out, every review of this restaurant ought to be questioned. While i was waiting for my bill (the food was okay), my waiter Aziz asked if i would write a Trip Advisor review. He brought over a card with the restaurant info and said he wanted me to fill it out "right now". He mentioned many times to include his name and to give 5 stars. I said I would leave a review later on and he again insisted that i do it right now, as he hovered over me. I couldn't get up and leave because he hadn't brought the bill yet. This is the strategy i assume. Eventually i got through to him and he fetched the bill. His demeanor - which to this point had been wonderful - completely changed. He was curt and indignant. I paid the bill and he walked away without saying anything. I wondered if the good service had not been genuine but rather to get a good review. There was so a 10% tax of some sort added to the bottom of the bill. It had three abbreviations, one of which was VAT. In two weeks traveling morocco I hadn't seen that anywhere else.

Also, they added a 10% VAT (?) tax on the bill. I've been in Morocco for two weeks and never seen...

Today I was walking over Marakesh lovely streets and suddenly saw over a window a beautiful table decorated with table cloths. Went inside and have chosen 2 pairs in different colours. Each cost 150 dirham, so 300 in total or 30 euro. I wanted to pay with card, the gentleman on reception refused it, also refused to tell me his name, called two times his manager- this one also refused to talked to me over the phone, at the end I understood that if I drink a coffee or take a bottle of water at the cost even on 20 Dirhams in their so called cafe like 2-3 meters away I can and will be able to pay with card on the same reception desk where they sell at least 10 different articles for home use and decoration, but anything of these objects CAN’T be paid by card, only cash. So is not the the cash register problem it’s just the amazing decision of their owner Marisa- I wrote on their brochure her name to not forget it and promised her employe will inform everyone how unprofessional they are. Unprofessional is even a “light” version of this poor behaviour. Really disappointed, my energy, my foot or other part of my body will never step in this place again. I...

We went back for seconds! We liked the place so much that we decided to go back for lunch the next day. We got sandwiches and all the ingredients were really fresh! Their hummus has a great garlic flavor, so if you like that I would recommend it. We also loved their ice cream. I would recommend at least trying their mint. It wasn't like American mint ice cream, it was water based, with fresh mint leaves and really refreshing! Their lemon and chocolate are tasty too. As far as we could tell, none had milk so if you are lactose intolerant (like my boyfriend) this is a great spot. The upstairs terrace has beautiful views of the mountains. It has shade and sun depending on what you are looking for while you sit. Overall it's just a great place to duck into for a quick bite and escape the chaos...

Good atmosphere but below-average overpriced food. Maybe just come here for drinks. Came here as it was fairly well rated on TripAdvisor but hugely disappointed by the quality of food served. We have offered two pasta dishes and a traditional Morrocan soup, but none was great and one of the pasta dishes was horribly bad (Spagetti Atlas or something). Honestly i didn't mind the price if the quality were to be equated but it was not. Even the olives and breads served were really bad... T bread was hard and cold and olives were not tasty at all. It does have a very good atmosphere with nice rooftop with cute napkins with moderately dressed waiters. Maybe it works better as a bar/cafe. I won't recommend ordering food here.
