Koutoubia Herbal — Local services in Marrakesh Prefecture

SCAM! AVOID AT ALL COST! I recently took an organized tour in Marrakech, and it was an extremely disappointing experience. Our guide failed to show us all the monuments that were supposed to be included in the tour. Even for the places we did visit, he barely provided any explanations or information about the buildings and their significance.

However, the most frustrating part of the tour was the more than 2 hours we spent being led to various shops where we were scammed by locals. This was our first day in Marrakech, and we had no knowledge about local prices. Our guide repeatedly assured us that he was being honest and would only take us to the best places where locals shop for the highest quality goods. Unfortunately, this was far from the truth. KOUTOUBIA HERBAL was part of these shops! We overpaid everything by 50%!!!

We ended up paying exorbitant prices, only to realize back at our hotel, where we had access to the internet, that we had been massively scammed. The guide's insistence that these were the best places and his pressure tactics made us feel forced to buy. The whole experience was uncomfortable and left us feeling cheated.

I strongly advise avoiding this place. It was a terrible start to our trip in Marrakech and left us feeling disillusioned...

If you are in Marrakech or planning on visiting, you must visit Koutoubia Herbal. All their products are certified which ranges from body (including products for pigmentation) hair, food etc. They are 100% Argan oil and most importantly, certified.

The moment we entered the store, they were extremely professional, patient and helpful especially Loubna, Fatima and Hannah. I was with my baby and the service was above and beyond, exceptional. They showed and explained all the prodcuts, their benefits and how to use them and we never felt pressured. This herbal establishment is the best you will find. The vist is an experience.

The herbs and spices are above par. My tour group was told that koutoubia ships worldwide.
