Oozing character and tranquillity. Perfect hosts who go above and beyond to ensure you have a stay to remember.
Tucked away in a quiet lane within the Medina, we are really pleased we picked this Riad for our three night visit to Marrakech. It is perfectly located in the Medina for access to all the different areas and sites of interest from the souks to the palaces and gardens and just a minute or two from the main square, Jemaa El-Fna. Yet despite this, when you are in the Riad it is perfect tranquillity with a beautifully calm atmosphere that is the perfect contrast to the hustle and bustle of the markets. Starting from when we arrived at the airport, our taxi was arranged for us and brought us to the main square where another gentlemen with a barrow took us and our cases to the Riad front door (there are no cars allowed). We were shown around the riad and our room then offered tea and a snack while Michael gave us all the vital information we needed to enjoy our stay from how to get the right price for a taxi to all the best places to visit (no guide needed) including restaurants which they booked for us every evening. They even took us out on foot to ensure we knew exactly how to navigate the area and get back again to the Riad. Starting in the warmth of the rising sun with a fabulous breakfast on the roof top was a great way to start the day, and to end, back on the roof terrace among the orange trees for a well-earned beer or vin gris after all the walking and before heading out again for one the restaurants recommended by Michael and Guido, all of which were great choices. Always on hand for whatever is needed, the hospitality at the Riad Les Nuits is exceptional. We would have no hesitation in staying here again and cannot speak highly enough of the amazing hosting from Michael, Guido and their excellent team.

Read moreWe were referred to the Riad Les Nuits de Marrakech by a friend who stayed there for a week in late December. She raved about the hospitality she received from the owners of the Riad - Michael and Guido. We are so glad she did! First of all, Marrakech is an insanely, intensely wonderful place. Overwhelming at first, but thankfully, Michael and Guido offered to have a car and driver meet us at the airport and drive us to a place on the outer rim of the Medina. There, the driver guided us to the man assigned to carry our luggage in a cart directly to the Riad, about two hundred meters through the main square (Jemaa el-Fnaa) and through a winding street. All went very smoothly. The cost was the same as a taxi from the airport, 15 Euros, plus a couple of tips. We were greeted at the Riad by both Michael and Guido. Such nice guys. A quick tour of the Riad, filled appropriately with plants, Moroccan rugs, and other authentic furniture and decorations winded through and around a center hall. The large rooftop deck had tables, chairs and lounges in niches in the sun and shade. Our room was spacious and elegant. We had a feeling of staying in a dear friends house. Michael sat with us in the shade of the rooftop and provided a map of the Medina and showed us where to shop and sightsee. He answered all of our questions and prepared us for the days to come. Guido made dinner reservations for us each night ( excellent food and... wine! ) The best restaurant was La Maison Arabe! Drinks on the rooftop served by Michael before dinner each evening was lovely. The complimentary Breakfast each morning was incredible. Fresh breads, eggs, fruits, coffee, tea were presented beautifully. At the end of our stay, Michael, Guido and the staff met us at the front door and wished us well. Many thanks guys! We...

The riad itself is amazing. Beautiful and sympathetically restored by its proud owners to a high standard. Just being in the central courtyard is an experience itself, but it goes on, rambling back to another beautiful courtyard and up to a first floor with seating and an amazing terrace.
But you experience the riad before you get there: The wonderful owners, Guido and Michel arranged for a taxi from the train station and the porter to take us to the riad we’d otherwise never have found.
Once there, we were given a wonderful welcome and Azziz then came out with us and showed us the route to the square and back so we’d find it for ourselves easily after that.
We were given a helpful explanation of how to navigate the city, complete with a map and recommendations of nice places to eat and visit. With their help and advice we were able to really enjoy our stay and had a magical experience.
Azziz was always on hand to help us, as were Guido and Michel and they gave us the most pleasant, best stay we’ve ever had anywhere.
They booked restaurants for us, not only recommended and booked a hammam - but took us there (we’d never have found it) and all their recommendations were excellent.
I haven’t been to any other riads, so I can’t say for sure this is the best in the whole of Marrakech, but it’s hard to imagine how anywhere could be better.
Beautiful, clean and with the most friendly, genuine people who effortlessly give amazing hospitality, with genuine enthusiasm and friendliness. The breakfast each morning on the terrace was wonderful.
Most highly recommended to you and I will be personally recommending this to all my friends and family.
You will get the most out of Marrakesh and have a...
