Firstly i must thank the chef for his professional food. I believe in food bringing back the memories. After eating his food many old memories from home flashed across my eyes. He is quite professional and he selects his ingredients and he cooks them very carefully.

I came across this restraunt by chance but im really happy for having a long lasting memorable meal. In my first visit i had Lamb tanjia Chicken skewers Along with it chef gave us complimentary bread, olives, pickled beetroot, capsicum and eggplant. I never had soo good olives and egg plant curry.

The lamb was cooked to perfection, its soo tender. After talking to chef i learned that he buys his own meat himself, this should be the important quality of a good chef. You can only find these kind of chefs in star hotels. The lamb was cooked slowly for hours, you dont have to use a fork it just melts like butter. Chicken skewers are good just like as you get in any good restaurant.

After my above visit i came back after two days to try following dishes. Lamb tajine Morrocon saffron vermicelli with chicken.

I ordered above dishes with high expectations and chef fulfilled it with 100% satisfaction. I dont have enough words to describe how happy Im after having this food.

One has to be lucky to taste...

My visit to Tanjia Secrets was an absolute delight from start to finish. This hidden gem offers not just a meal, but a true Moroccan culinary experience that is both authentic and unforgettable.

The highlight of the evening was, of course, the tanjia—slow-cooked to perfection, rich in flavor, and incredibly tender. Every bite was a testament to the skill and dedication that goes into preparing this traditional dish. The spices were perfectly balanced, creating a depth of flavor that I will never forget.

Beyond the exceptional food, the atmosphere at Tanjia Secrets is simply magical. The warm and intimate setting, combined with traditional Moroccan decor, creates the perfect ambiance for a memorable dining experience.

The service was impeccable—attentive, friendly, and truly passionate about sharing the essence of Moroccan cuisine. The staff made me feel welcome and ensured that every detail of the evening was perfect.

If you're in Marrakech and looking for an authentic, unforgettable meal, Tanjia Secrets is a must-visit. I cannot...

I just can not recommend this place enough. This should be a Michelin star restaurant. The food, the presentation, hospitality it’s so so amazing. May be after five years of living in a questionable hospitality country lol people’s unique kindness gets to me so much. Of course we have not yet tasted all of Morocco (one day soon) but I can undoubtedly say this place will easily become somebody’s top 5. It’s such a small cozy place we only stopped by for a quick bite after seeing amazing reviews, you wouldn’t believe inside you’d get treated with such insane delicacies. Just simple salad is made of so much intricate details is just beyond me. Whoever the chef is the term “chef’s kiss” was made for them. We opted for traditional Moroccan cuisines and definitely made the best choices. The person who served us explained the menus and recommended us our food. Truly one of a kind experience. And their mint tea is amazing, they also gave us free desserts that I had with tea in the evening. Thank you so much for accommodating us. Can not...

I had a wonderful dining experience at Tanjia Secrets in Marrakesh. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere felt both authentic and cozy—perfect for enjoying traditional Moroccan cuisine. The food was absolutely delicious and tasted incredibly fresh. We started with a refreshing orange juice served in tall glasses, paired with small plates of olives and a flavorful red sauce that added a nice kick. The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the tanjia, a traditional Moroccan slow-cooked meat dish. It was rich in flavor, beautifully tender, and served in a classic clay pot that enhanced the authenticity of the experience. The spices were well-balanced, and the meat was cooked to perfection, falling apart with every bite. Everything—from the food and drinks to the service and ambiance—was spot on. If you’re looking for an authentic local food experience in Marrakesh, Tanjia Secrets is a must-visit.
