Adorable Restaurant! This is definitely a place I’d recommend to friends for a chill but vibrant, enjoyable evening.
Among all the overpriced tourist traps and fancy spots I’ve tried, this one offers a genuinely great experience at a reasonable price. (tho, I wasn't sure if it's the place because of the Menu looks) Except—I had a small issue when I tried to give a tip separately after paying. The waiter didn’t even say thank you because we hadn’t included the tip in the initial payment. That was disappointing. I considered removing a star for that, but to be honest, the overall atmosphere was so warm and attentive—you can really feel that the staff are working hard to give guests a good experience.
The olives were perfect, and the aubergine salad was AMAZING (especially if you're a garlic lover!). The soup was comforting and made the stomach feel great. Honestly, I was already in love with the appetizers, and when you add the live music and happy energy of the people around—it just felt good to be there. We were lucky to find this place.
Targin was the best—we ended up ordering it at nearly every meal (except breakfast 😂).
The skewers weren’t overly spiced, but they were still enjoyable. The rice with mixed vegetables was well prepared, though some people might have different preferences when it comes to rice texture.
And we completely fell in love with the orange and cinnamon powder dessert -...
Read moreDo not go here. Was made to feel incredibly uncomfortable. I went here with a friend and had a very upset stomach due to previous Moroccan cuisine! My friend ordered a full meal which was fine and I asked for plain rice which they didn't have so went for French fries. They laughed a bit when I ordered which made me feel worse. Then afterwards I tried to order tea (again, for my stomach) I was then told that the tea man has stopped for the night - what a joke, I could see customers being served tea two tables away. We were then just sitting enjoying our water (what felt like the only drink we were allowed to order!) and one of the waiters came over to aggressively ask us if we needed the food menu or if we were ready to leave as he had 'lots of people waiting' (there was one couple sat "waiting" at a table they could have eaten at). The final rudeness of the night was when we were walking out - we overheard the restaurant staff making rude, demeaning remarks about us how I had only ordered chips, how it's impossible to keep a table for chips etc etc.. don't go here unless you want way below average food, awful aggressive service and staff that make you feel like an ATM rather than a...
Read moreI’m so happy I decided to come back here after 4 years!! I came here twice in November 2018 and decided to come today again in November, 2022. Especially because the food is so delicious and the staff is very gentil and hardworking!!! The prices are very cheap for the quality of the food, everything is fresh and tasty, the staff are always smiling and treating people well. I hope you get to meet Rashid, a spectacular waiter that has been working here since 2009! I’m so happy with his service every time I come here! About the food, I’d recommend you to try the chicken pastela and the chicken couscous with vegetables!! Also, have a mint tea with Moroccan sweets as dessert!! The tea only costs 10dh (1€) and you can have several glasses with that little teapot! Enjoy your visit to this amazing restaurant. Also, if you want to get to know Moroccan music, you should come at night, as every night they organize Moroccan music shows, the music is soft and the atmosphere is very relaxing with the background music! Thank you Chez...
