Himalaya Guest House & Chillout Roof Top — Hotel in Bhaktapur Municipality

I stay here 2 nights with group of Dutch friends. This is simple guest house in Bhatapur suitable for those who looking cheap accommodation for their stay in Bhaktapur inside the Durbar Square area. This hotel is simple has small but simply comfortable room. Simple low bed and mattress is fine, however in winter season you might need to ask extra blanket if you do not have your own sleeping bags.||We didn't try food here. So I can't tell much about their meal. But in general it is average hotel in Bhaktapur...

This is a very nice guesthouse with a wonderful host. He is knowledgeable about Bhaktapur and Nepal, speaks English very well and seem to enjoy sharing what he knows and suggesting things to do, if you haven't made plans yourself. Rest of staff is also very nice. We liked to sit on the rooftop terrace taking in the city. Looking one way you see Taumadhi Square. Looking the other way you see everyday Bhaktapur life. the room was clean and affordable. the toilet was quite cramped but there was hot shower which i'm very thankful for. the food at the hotel was not bad. the staff were very friendly and helpful. the facilities provided in the room were not very useful. the fan wasnt working and the tv didnt seem to be working as well. i was staying on the 3rd floor and the wifi had bad connection. good for a basic stay. central location. walking distance to the dubar square...
