The Garuda Bar — Restaurant in Bhaktapur Municipality

Had a really good time at this bar. One our last stops before we left Nepal. Had beers on the rooftop for sunset, overlooking an epic view of Taumadhi Square. We met the owner, Jugal, and had a deep conversation about Nepali music and culture. This is his family’s spot and he’s born and raised in Bhaktapur. The Garuda Bar is a rooftop bar with a great vibe and atmosphere. The hotel below it is also fantastic, which will make for a great stay. The outdoor seating has a fantastic view from the bar. Asim, the bartender, has excellent customer service, and makes fantastic drinks. His skill, along with the bar setting, with a view of the tallest temple in Nepal and the skyline of Kathmandu, makes the experience...

If you guys wanna experience the ancient beauty of bhaktapur with some drinks then I highly recommend our tourist to visit this place. A awesome place with nice service, with exotic drinks. Got so lucky to snap this picture of me with the most awesome background and it gets better with the traditional music playing in the durbar...
