Aalucha — Restaurant in Bhaktapur Municipality

This place is amazing..... It offers varities of food items related to potatoes. Me and my friends went there after visiting the Nyatapola temple and we were quite satisfied with the services of this place. Although the management of this restaurant is found to be quite questionable but overall services can be said fine.

I am giving them 4 stars because of their management but I am giving them 5 stars for the food. Tornado fries of this place are said to be world class with aalucha sauce.

I am thinking to revisit this place for tasting some other items.

If you are around Bhaktapur Durbar Squarr and searching a goof place to have quality food to erase your hunger, this place will be the perfect one. Enjoy travelling...

So I have visited this place... 3 or 4 times and the rate here has increased by 3 times too 🤣🙏 Tornado costs 100 rs per stick which is just too much considering the quantity and taste. It was 45 last time I visited.... And the service is not that good. They just keep shouting excuse me, excuse me and everyone just keep looking if it's their order. I would suggest them to have a token system. Taste is very normal nothing that special. Location wise it's in the center of durbar square . .... I would not suggest anyone to just go there for foods... U can try much better newari foods, good quantity and quality near the gate at much cheaper rate . 1 star is for this potato...

The OG fries place. They've been able to maintain the quality of the fries throughout all these years, and the fact that they are all fresh fries is the best. Can't ever be replaced by places that sell frozen fries w/flavourings and sauces.

Love the Butter Chicken Poutine here. Sukuti Fries used to be really good previously, would be good if they didn't put raw onions and carrots as toppings. Tornado Fries are great as usual, but I wish they kept more cheese powder and be consistent with the sprinkling cause when I ordered mine, only got cheese on one end of the fries.

Sad that they don't have an outlet in...
