I had the pleasure of staying at Boudha Apart Hotel in Kathmandu for over a year, and it truly felt like a home away from home. Michael & Pema, along with their little son, became like family to me during my stay. The warmth and kindness they showed made my time there unforgettable. The hotel itself is incredibly well-maintained, with spotless rooms that are comfortable and cozy. The cleanliness is top-notch, and the attention to detail in every corner of the hotel is evident. I always felt at ease, knowing I was staying in such a well-kept space. Not to mention that the homemade food, was always fresh, delicious, and healthy. The hotel is conveniently located near the iconic Buddha Stupa, but it's nestled in the peaceful neighborhood of Ramhiti, away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist area. This makes it the perfect balance—close enough to explore the Stupa and the city, yet far enough to enjoy a calm, quiet environment. The friendly local community around the hotel adds to the charm, making you feel like part of a real neighborhood. Overall, I can't recommend Boudha Apart Hotel enough. Whether you're staying for a short time or a longer period, you'll find a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere and exceptional hospitality. If you're looking for a place that combines comfort, warmth, and a personal touch in a great location, this is the perfect spot in Kathmandu. Thank you...
Read moreIf I could give this place 6 stars or more I would. Michael, Pema, and the rest of the staff are so kind. They really go out of their way to make you feel welcome and I must say they really go above and beyond. My partner and I needed to go to hospital and they even helped set up an appointment for us. They also checked in to see how we were doing daily with genuine care and concern. Whether it be taxis, restaurant recommendations, bus tickets to Pokhara, you name it—they’ll do their best to help provide.
As far as the rooms go, they are quite spacious, and very clean. We had a balcony as well which made it all feel like a little studio apartment for an exceptional price. The beds are VERY comfortable and as the place is brand new, the hotel is spotless.
Only a 15-20 min walk to the Buddha Stupa. To be honest, it was quite nice to be slightly off center as you get more of a local feel and aren’t surrounded by tourists. There are plenty of local restaurants and shops just outside the hotel so you don’t have to go far if you want a quick bite.
The hotel is also just opening its cafe and has a lovely sitting area in the lobby.
We loved loved loved this place! Thanks again Boudha Apart-Hotel for making us feel at home. We’ll...
Read moreI stayed at Boudha Apart Hotel for three weeks in Sept/Oct 2024, and have stayed there briefly in 2023, the ambiance is new but homey, excellent location, the hotel room and bed were delightfully comfortable, and yes I enjoyed the refrigerator, AC and hot water cooker, also was nice to have a communal kitchen at the end of the corridor if desired. The room had a balcony to enjoy fresh air, but it was the roof that secured my stay. I just love the open view, the small room to do exercise (Yoga, Weights), and I just want everyone to remember to enjoy the roof. The dining experience was scrumptious (good breakfast, ravioli, etc.), the staff were attentive and the hospitality delightful on all aspects...my stay was relaxing, and close too so much I love (swimming, walks, music, shopping, stupa and restaurants), yes a enjoyable memorable experience that stays with you and you hope you find elsewhere the same when traveling. They worked to provide you with the extraordinary stay which is a nice treat, I did enjoy the time...
