Boat & breakfast — Hotel in Amsterdam

Positive: Amazing atmosphere, really nice and friendly owner, clean and tidy room. Even Netflix you have on the TV. You can have your drink, sit at the terrace and enjoy your time by observing the atmosphere such as ducks, swans, local people, foggy weather when you return to the boat at the end of a tiring day. Considering all these, i would never ever go and get stuck in the hotel room at the end of the day in the Amsterdam. Boat-room rocks! Lieferando app is working in Amsterdam. You may order dishes to the boat and make yourself feel more home! :) Lieferando+Netflix+Boat-room :):). Negative: when it rains, you may get wet in the rain at the terrace. So it would be better to have terrace roof covered longer for winter season....

Positive: Fantastic view and location. Floating on a canal in a high quality room, 3 minutes walk from the old town. Very high quality / tech lighting, entertainment system. Good to know the friendly owners Rood and Ruth were next door if we needed them; gave excellent recommendations for cafes, pubs, restaurants. Yet were not intrusive, allowing us to get on with our holiday.. Negative: I would have liked a toaster and a small sink to wash up or have dishwasher tablets provided. We managed with sink in bathroom but no equipment like a tea towel, cloth, or washing liquid. Also only 1 bowl so cereal a bit tricky for 3. Despite this great...

Central location with less than 10 minute walk to Central train station. Cafe across the street for an evening beer, and within 5 minutes walk you have access to the many shops and Cafes on the edges of the red light district.
