Canal Suite l City Centre — Hotel in Amsterdam

I made a reservation for a good friend of mine, For reasons unrelated to the apartment itself, I was really worried that something might go wrong with his trip. Judith was extremely kind and patient and reassured me and let me know why friend was okay despite my paranoia, which, as I said, actually had nothing to do with the apartment, and which was therefore really not her issue. She was kind anyway.

I myself have stayed in Amsterdam several times and I know what is central and what is not. This apartment is incredibly central. Of course you can take the tram everywhere. However, you can also walk just about everywhere very quickly.

The apartment was also very clean and very comfortable. My friend let me know. I worry about him and he knows this and he is also very honest with me always, so he tells me if everything is okay or if anything is wrong. I know him so well. He absolutely loved the apartment. He also experienced what I experienced, super friendly people.

He was allowed to leave his luggage at the apartment before the check in time so he could explore Amsterdam. I really appreciated that. He was also offered something I really did not expect: a late check out. That was so kind. I have no words.

There was also a party in Amsterdam over the weekend. Obviously, I was not there but Judith sent me a photo so I could be there in a way, seeing what my friend was seeing and sharing in a good time that he was having. No one has ever done that before.

I cannot praise and recommend Canal Suite CIty Centre enough. If I ever get to Amsterdam again one day, I hope I too...

We are a couple of travelers and we booked at this property for 4 days at the turn of the holidays of December 8th. given the health disaster in which Europe now finds itself for the fourth wave and especially Holland which is now in almost total lockdown with an important presence of the African variant and with the collapsed health system of the country, we have tried to find an agreement with the structure, despite being non-refundable, to try to remedy the emergency situation in some way. the answer was very rude but above all mendacious as it blames booking only and exclusively for the impossibility of proceeding with any modification proposed by us, such as date or voucher or partial refund of our stay. It is clear that it is only a question of money that does not allow the guest structure to meet us and the thing is truly scandalous considering that there are few travelers who venture further and we among them also for an economy of the country this attitude is inadmissible. absolutely...

Great apartment! Walking distant to dam Square area, to the zoo, and many other attractions. Five minutes from the metro and a big supermarket.

The apartment is small, but good for one/two people. The owner was communicative as needed.

People who have a hard time with stairs should notice there is a steep flight of stairs (as many others in Amsterdam).
