The food here used to be really nice but they definitely changed chef. In my opinion it's not as good as before, the taste and flavors used to be on point. I used to eat here a lot. Now it’s definitely not the same. But I still go here coz it’s closed to my work. This will be the last time!!! Terrible SERVICE!!! the man who served me is so RUDE! It's not the first time he did this before! Anyway I went in asking for a small LUNCH BOX, I think the guy didn't heard me properly I asked for rice and beef. So he started to put the beef in the box and than I said can I have some rice with it. He gave me an attitude! I called him out on it for being rude are you going to argue with you customer! Still he acted very RUDE and said you didn't ask me! In my head I'm thinking it's also common sense. Anyway even if I didn't what's the problem to just put rice in there! There's no need to be RUDE for that. I won't be coming back here for sure! Too bad I always recommended all my clients to come here for lunch because i work at the hairdresser close by. Excellent, always reliable Surinamese takeaway....

Situated in the Waterlooplein Metrostation, this wildly popular Surinamese eathouse is used mostly for takeaway. You can stay and eat there if you like, but it's not particularly salubrious. The food, however, is great and relatively cheap.
