Los Argentinos — Restaurant in The Hague

Me and my friends were looking for something nice to eat so we took a look at google. We found couple of options and unfortunately this option was the closest to us so we went there. Long story short; My friends ordered rybeye and i ordered steak. Wait saved me steak and my friends got some kind of medium rare meat. It was not rybeye. I gave my best to eat the steak as it was very tough. 2 of my friends didnt even touch their plate while the other friend had taken couple of bites. Afterwards he felt sick for the next 2 days. When we told to waiter that we would like to pay he looked at us and asked where was the problem and we politely answered that it is not our cup of tea. Then what really made me mad and made me write this review was the fact that he said : " i mean you wanted medium rare and you got it". We, ofcourse did not get any discount. P.S : dont get fooled by the name. There is neither any argentinians working there nor is the meat argentinian. Indian people work there. Shame i can't provide any photos as i didn't take any. The food is great value for money and on a good day it even tastes decent. However, the service is awful 95% of the time—with the exception of the older gentlemen who is always pleasant.

I’ve noticed on a few visits how better service is preserved for specific customers whilst others, like myself, can struggle to order drinks/food without an attitude. The waiter who mainly takes orders is so condescending and dismissive, anything you ask, it’s like you’re bothering him.

The food is often inconsistent, especially when it is busy. On my most recent visit, I pointed undercooked/pink chicken, which is literally dangerous and not much was done about it. A waste of a dish because i didn’t even get to have a full cooked portion.

This will be my last, which is a shame because for the most part, it’s okay food (on a good day). I just can’t tolerate poor customer...
