Grand Café Haagse Bluf — Restaurant in The Hague

visited this fabulous rooftop terrace with my girlfriend for our weekly wine catch-up🥂 we ordered a carafe of the white wine, it is very well priced for the amount of wine you are getting. you know how tempting it is to keep ordering more wine when they come in those little glasses, it seems to disappear so fast! 😅 we were feeling a bit cheeky so we got on that carafe action! the wine was delicious and fresh, they even got us tap water with ice on the side. We were looking for a nice place for lunch and as my lovely Dutch company was up for his beloved boterham/broodje as usual we came across the Haagse Bluf. As I got convinced that I should be 'a little bit more Dutch' this time I ordered a sandwich as well (the 'gezonde') which was basically nothing special but the combination of the toppings was well chosen! Beware of the all inclusive packages. I had a private party for 65 persons inclusive buffet and all we could drink! (all together more tha € 4.000). Half way through the evening the the owner found we drank too much and I had to pay €600 before he would install the next barrel of beer. Most people left 1 hour before the party was over (too hot, windows could not open), and I have asked for at least 50% of the €600 extra pay back, but with no succes.
