I don't often write reviews but I have decide to make an effort to start recognizing good service when I experience it as I read reviews regularly. This was my first time in a lounge in a airport. The lounge was super clean and comfortable. The food was all yummy, had a good presentation and tasted fresh. The staff was accommodating and friendly. One of the worst AirNewZealand international lounges. I know the traffic in Christchurch international isn’t that big , but really this lounge is a joke. The only reason to come here is clean you and free fast wifi. Coffee is disgusting (machine) with no choice of alternative milk, food is just some snacks not very fresh. Not enough seats to accommodate one full flight of business passengers. The only reason for stars are professional and always smiling staff that compensate the otherwise...

Fantastic vibe in this airport, but good luck getting anyone to help break a $20 bill (thanks, BNZ ATM minimum withdrawal) for your bus fare needs. Apparently, cash is as terrifying here as it is in Wellington city. Silver lining? There’s a Burger King upstairs where the prices, shockingly, haven’t hit gourmet coffee levels.
